My first major setback was when I broke my ankle at the beginning of football season. This was my first time ever breaking a bone and it happened right before our first game. The hardest thing about it was not being able to play and having to watch every game. The second hardest thing was that I could not workout so I got out of shape. This experience made me realize that I need to work really hard in order to get back to they way I was. Throughout school I always struggled with staying focused and getting good grades. When I was in 8th grade my doctor said that I had ADD and that they were going to give me pills that will help me focus. I remember when my parents told me what it was I was really embarrassed. I honestly didn’t know what to think at first i was just really upset and felt as if there was something wrong with me. So after the first couple days of taking the pills everything felt a lot easier. I was able to focus a lot better in school, my grades were going up, and my test scores were getting a lot better.
