I can't articulate my words very well in one to one conversation, and this spurred me feeling the need to write this letter. I was talking with some of the other Joes about this morning’s PT and for the most part people liked it. Something one of my high school coaches told me that really stuck with me throughout my life was about performance. He said, he didn't care if I was the best player or the worst player, but only that I was consistent with what I brought to the table. I think as a unit we need to come together and decide what we want to consistently bring to the table. I'm not saying that we can't have fun days because I think that it brings us together and gives us the occasional much needed morale boost. But I am saying that if we all set the mindset that we are going to put forth everything we have consistently we can see something really special. The bonding of our comrades through blood, sweat, and the birth of cohesion that other units would be jealous of. We can't always control what happens throughout the day and I would even venture to say PT is the really the only thing that we can control. So why not put forth our best foot and venture to always have a good
