Personal Narrative: Koodak Black
It means sometimes you just have to realize starting over and doing something or going somewhere as in schools to homes may not always be a bad thing. At times, all people need is to start over. It`s almost like being born again, you know? To get away from all your current problems and start new would be something great. I know the quote “A fresh start is a good thing” is true because I think the same thing. I actually had wanted that for myself, and most of my friends did too. Normally when people start a new fresh life, their life is so much peaceful and simpler. No drama, no nothing. I have a favorite rapper named kodak black. He made me realize that maybe a fresh start wouldn`t be so bad. He lived a tough life and always struggled …show more content…
Now he makes a lot of money and he`s famous. My parents always had problems as i was growing up. Since around age 7 to 13 about to turn 14. Which caused me to act the same and i would struggle in school a lot. I would manage to get by every year, but it wasn`t the way i wanted to. I always thought it was normal to struggle the way i was struggling in school. Until i saw that other students weren`t struggling as much as me. My parents ended up getting divorced and my dad got locked up at age 13. Instead of being depressed i saw it as an eye opener and i thought to myself everything happens for a reason. I decided to study harder and focus in school and i chose to start a new fresh life. I picked up my grades by a lot and i eventually joined sports and made new friends. I still kept some old friends but i let go of alot. I have to admit, i love my life now. I`m really glad i started off new. I feel like if i didnt, id be in a lot of drama right now and i would be back to my old self. My grades would be horrible and i wouldn`t have been able to do sports. I would always be in a bad mood and have a negative life in general. Which is not what i would want, so in the end, i agree with the quote,

This quote represents the moving through life. If one thing has ended, then start a new one, not everything can last forever. Everything in life is temporary, So if things are going good, enjoy it because it won’t last forever. And if things are going bad, then don’t worry because it can’t last forever either.…

Here I sit in my car outside the house. Tonight's the night. It has been to long. Tonight i will relieve my hunger for death. Emily Smith. I have been watching her for the last week or so, or so i think. i don't really keep track anymore. Sometimes i catch myself walking into work on saturdays and sundays. I just have other things to worry about other than the day of the week, like Emily Smith. Why did i pick her? I really don't know. I guess you could say she's attractive. Now that i look back at my other kills the females were all attractive. Which is strange because i don't really notice women, and i'm not looking for any type of relationship ever.…

Based on my experience, Ralph Waldo Emerson's quote is correct. While you obviously don't physically grow because you did something new, you do grow mentally. People who have been exposed to a lot of what life has to offer are often times much more mature and experienced about the world, especially when compared to someone who hasn't had the same opportunities and has never even left their hometown. People can grow and learn new things by simply stepping out of their comfort zone when they get a chance and they'd likely feel much better. I have had numerous opportunities to do some things that are way different than what I do in my normal day to day life and unless there's a good chance I'll end up seriously injured, I'll take the…

My life in high school did no go very well because I would get in a lot of trouble by getting in fights in high school. Until one day they decided to kick me out because I was a handful and they did not know what to do with me anymore. I would tell them to give me another chance but they would tell me no because they already gave me too much chances and that I did not take advantage of them and keep on getting in trouble and kept getting in fights. Knowing that I got kicked out made me think that I will not do go in my future. So I decided to find a…

“You is smart. You is beautiful. You is strong.” For a couple of years my mom would playfully cite to me her version of the famous lines from the movie “The Help” in hopes that it would inspire me as an African American woman. At the time I was nearly 10 and frankly I brushed off every word my mom said because I looked around me and didn’t feel comfortable in my own skin. It took me sometime to realize that my mother’s words would forever stay with me and empower me. Especially when I met adversaries that would try to make me feel small for who I am.…

Moving homes and relocating to another city sometimes feels like starting a new life. New home, new friends, and new streets to learn. I moved towns at the age of five and got to see things from a different perspective as I grew older. It was not until the age of 12 that I transferred schools and made new friends. At the time, I was frightened of the idea of moving, but after some time I was truly grateful it had happened to me. My parents, as well as a friend of mine, took a big part of this change and helped me step out of my comfort zone. Through this experience, I learned to accept myself and everything around, as well as to be more open to trying new things.…

I can still remember the first couple incidents that happened to me that started to shift my path of life. On May 26, 2011 I graduated from high school. It was a day full of happiness, sadness, and anxiety. I planned on taking time off of school since I have been in it for about 12 years straight. I planned on taking lots of trips with my friends and just experiencing new things in the new world. I also knew that if I did go back right away I wouldn’t succeed to my full potential. I simply wasn’t ready. At my grad party, I got into an argument with my brother, because I was defending my cousin. It soon escalated into a full on brawl between me, my brother, my boyfriend at the time, my father, and some friends. I made my way from outside where everyone was yelling at each other into my room. My father stormed into my roomed, where he proceeded to keep yelling at me telling me how I always screw everything up and I felt so overwhelmed that I just wanted to leave. Every ounce of me tried to escape that mad house but he wouldn’t let me leave until the cops arrived. I packed up a few things and left to stay with my boyfriend. A couple of days later I went and got the…

Change has never been one of my strong points; and today in some life areas is still very scary for me. Like most everyone else, I am comfortable with what is familiar, though in some cases the familiar is toxic. I may be aware that I need to make a change, but may stay stuck in the contemplation or even pre-contemplation stage for any large amount of time. I value the steadiness, the routines, and the certainty of knowing what’s next. I however, through education and personal experience understand that change is important; change brings growth. In that, I push myself. If I don’t like something about my life, I either have to do something about it, or quit complaining.…

Change can be difficult part of a person’s life, oftentimes quite harrowing. Some may find change to be a good thing. I, on the other hand, find it to be more than former. This great change in my life was when my family was forced to move to a new city when I was fourteen. Not only, was I facing a great change, but it would be a change that would affect me for the rest of my life. When I found out that we were moving, I was frightened. I was going to lose all of my friends. I was going to have to start over. That was scary. Being the new kid in school is awful and upsetting, and I was not looking forward to that at all. Already being a shy person who has trouble connecting with new people, being forced to start at a new school was absolutely terrifying.…

Every person has its ups and downs in life. These big changes create either positive or negative turning-points in people’s life. The biggest change I experienced in my life was when I started to work. I had an enormous will to achieve something in life but hadn’t the opportunity to do it before. Knowing you can move mountains but not having a chance to get in action hurts a person extremely. So, with a little delay and with the support of my husband, I accepted the offer of my friends, which I didn’t wanted to lose. Now, when I look back and take my social life, my ability to use the computer, and my self- confidence into consideration, I’m definitely sure I did the right thing with starting to work.…
