Personal Narrative: Disney World In Orlando
There is nothing more exciting than visiting the happiest place on Earth, whether it be for the first time or for the thousandth time. Disney World in Orlando, Florida is the ultimate destination for families, friends, and people of all ages. Between the countless attractions, restaurants, and shops there is never a dull moment in any of the parks or resorts. Notable memories wait behind every corner and nothing is more exciting than experiencing the magic of Disney.

I visited this past summer for the first time and it was surely a trip I will never forget. I would like to demolish the stereotypical idea that Disney is only for children, because as a seventeen year old, I’m already dreaming about going back. The fun starts the moment you exit

Rides such as Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Thunder Mountain, and my person favorite, Mike Wazowski’s Laugh Floor, are few of the many notable rides. It is also home to Cinderella’s castle and the MainStreet Parade where all of the characters showcase their skills by marching through an amazing performance. Walking into Animal Kingdom is like being transported straight into the jungle. The real life animals are a favorite to kids, but this park is also the favorite for many adults. My parents particularly loved this one because of the light shows, animal sightings, and of course, the amount of shade from the trees. As a movie lover, especially of Disney Movies, I took a real liking to Hollywood Studios. Between Star Wars, everything Pixar, and The Great Movie Ride which highlighted a bunch of classic films through the generations, there was nothing there I did not enjoy. I constantly dream about visiting again and learning more about what goes in to making the iconic films we all know and love. Finally, Epcot, an experience that you could spend a week on, alone. Epcot is amazing because it is a little piece of a number of cultures all in one space. The restaurants are all authentic and each cast member/employee are from the country they work in. It is possible to travel through the culture of a country in the same continent to a country on the opposite side of the

Everyone thinks that Disney World is fun but when I was 4 I thought it was scary. All of those princess’ and scary statues scared me. But the rides were even worse. When I saw the Rockin’ Rollercoaster I freaked out. I knew that my mom would make me try a new something new like the Rockin Rollercoaster. And that's exactly what she did. I don’t really like trying new things but I knew that my sister and my mom would do it too and they wanted to have fun with me. Somehow she knew that I would love that ride.…

Disney World in Orlando, FL has several theme parks, resorts, restaurants, and stores. Each is intentionally created to offer a memorable event for visitors. For example, the Wilderness Lodge is a large resort hotel on the grounds, and everything within it is made to look like log cabins and pioneer days. Even the casual restaurant has the wait staff dressed in pioneer costumes, and they put on funny little skits when they are waiting on customers. Which of the following best describes what Disney is…

Magic is what these places share. They were created to build and spread joy within the hearts of the people. Though one of these was built before the other, they both aim to fulfill their tasks, and bring magic to the visitors to both resorts. There are die hard Disney fans that will argue that Disney Land is better than Disney World, though the size, the unique attractions and rides, and the history of each will settle the argument that one of these vacation spots is better than the other.…

a city, but rather, the “place with all the parks”. With UCF's location right next to this city we hold as a get-away, it makes it extremely unique and even beats out many colleges for simply being so close to a vacation we've all longed to be on. Being so near Universal and Disney can even feel like home, and when you're learning and on the weekends can drive a short distance to hang out at Downtown Disney, it's basically a dream come true. When I was younger, I had two neighbors who told me they were moving to Orlando, and I was so excited for them I asked if they could take me with them. For 12 year old me, I only thought of Orlando as the place where I could ride the cool attractions and stay up late. Now, I see it as the place I hope to further my education and make a name for myself in the field of psychology. Orlando means many things to us Floridians, but to me it means a place where I can pursue my dream whilst feeling at home. While the attraction to the vacation aspect is a…

When I think of Disney World I see it as this monument that has a place in all childhood memories. These memories include a lot of happiness and most importantly, fun with the family. After all of the time that I took trips to Disney, I can still clearly see the smiling children gushing over their favorite Disney characters and the equally excited parents who had to speed walk just to keep up with them. Another memory that is evident, is that feeling of nerves a person feels when they’re about to get on a scary rollercoaster, but also that feeling of accomplishment that comes after once they’ve conquered it. Disney World represents home to me not only because of the great experiences that come with it, but because it is located in my hometown Orlando. I have to admit I do miss living there and knowing that Disney World is not too far away always gives me an excuse to visit. As a kid, I would always go on trips to Disney World and its image is a fond reminder of all those happy memories and easier…

When we think Disneyland, we think the happiest place on earth. For those who think this is an exaggeration, let me shed some light on why this place is magical for me. Disneyland to me means family traditions with a heart full of happiness and love. When you first enter Disneyland, you are overcome with a vast amount of emotions. I get a nervous feeling deep inside my gut. The excitement overwhelms me, knowing that in just a few small steps, I will see the castle at the end of Main Street. The smell of churros are in the air. The crowds are filled with children and parents. You can hear children’s laughter and excitement. And if you look closely, you can see Mickey and friends in the corner signing autographs and taking pictures. I close my…

A huge Mickey’s Fun Wheel jumped out at me right when I walked into the California Park. The colorful flowers set alongside a beautiful lagoon. The clip-clop of horse drawn carriages brought people back to carefree days. And of course, I never forget the biggest reason for going to Disneyland – the rides. There was a number of eye-catching moments here- some featuring otherworldly creatures, and white knuckle thrill rides through the clear sky.…
