Personal Narrative: Bundle Of Adoption
It all started when I was in 1st grade, around the age of 7. Every night I would get home from school and me and my mom would run up to my dad and begging him and begging him for another sister. We would give him chocolates, flowers, and everything just to get him to say yes. We could feel the tension of him; always saying no. Finally after 4 months of persuading him around April or May, he finally said yes. That was probably one of the best days of our lives, we were so overly excited we couldn't hold it in. It felt like a rocket with only a few seconds left before it blew. We had to tell everyone! So my parents were looking online, then a came across a site called “Bundle of Joy”. We immediately pushed on that, scrolling through it. Then we saw one for Louisiana. We pushed on that and then showed them it. …show more content…
We came all that way for a baby that someone put up for adoption but then wanted it back. It made no sense, why would you put your baby up for adoption, not have any time to take care of it, but then take it back, just why?? After not knowing what to we sadly went back up to Ohio. After finally getting everything straight, we started looking on “Bundles of Joy” again. We were looking and looking until we saw a baby up for adoption in Jacksonville, Florida. My mom jumped up and said “no way! That's where I was born, and I have friends down there too!” We again filled out, felt like thousands of papers. Then around September we went down to Florida and stayed with my moms friends for awhile. After that it was finally the day my sister wads suppose to be born.
We went to the hospital I was then finally able to say “I’m a big sister.” I was so unbelievably excited, all I wanted to do was go in there. We got to finally go in the hospital room and finally get to see my new baby sister! We went into there and the second I laid eyes on her I was automatically filled with happiness.
