Improving My Knowledge of Today’s Business World
The first periodical that I found appealing was “What Does a Medical Office Administrator Do?” I knew I wanted to major in Medical Office Administration, but I didn’t know everything the position involved. This led me to the question a wonderful article. It explains in detail, exactly what the duties are. Who would have thought one of the tasks was book keeping? You could have fooled me! I just thought it was a bunch of filing and computer work.
The second periodical I found appealing was “Medical Office Administrator: Job Description, Duties and Requirements”. The first periodical was not in depth, so I went searching for another to explain in more detail. This time I found more duties and requirements. I already knew the duties included answering phones, scheduling appointments and organizing medical records. The part I just started learning is, they process insurance forms, prepare reports and assist physicians with various presentations or articles. I thought a Human Resource Director did these tasks.

The strategy and plan that I have for practicing spiritual disciplines and personal growth is to make personal notes for myself as a reminder regarding my everyday schedule. One of the greatest observations that I practice is morning devotion, which is spending time with God. This is the time dedicated to God alone and where it has become a daily ritual for me to spend time in prayer and supplication. This is also the time where I spend in worship and throughout the course of the day, if I don’t get distracted. So, making written and mental notes would be one of the strategies I have for this approach to practicing spiritual disciplines and personal growth development.…

As Mullins (2005) states, “Psychologists have defined personality as consisting of stable characteristics which explain why a person behaves in a particular way”. Besides, to take a holistic view of personality, it is important to take into consideration the dynamic processes, which means focusing on the ways in which an individual’s traits interact. Armstrong (2006) indicates that personality can be regarded as the relatively stable and enduring aspects of individuals that distinguish them from other people.…
