Abraham Maslow supposes, “the fundamental desires of human beings are similar despite the multitude of conscious desires” (Zalenski 1121). This theory crosses all boundaries such as race, religion, ethnic, and geography. Maslow also believes the needs of human beings are hierarchical; lesser needs must be achieved before the greater needs can be explored (Zalenski 1121).…

Piaget’s cognitive developmental theory has guided us through stages of cognitive development in a secular worldview. By looking at the way God intend us to live and grow spiritually and our life experiences; we can see God’s guidance and directions in the formation of how a Christian matures. In this example, I will be going over leadership and the Christian foundation that we were created in the image of God. From the very beginning of our creation as humans, we were give leadership over all his creation. With leadership, in any aspect, you will possess tremendous responsibility, and power over others, and their lives. King David stated in Psalm 139 “Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous-How well we know it.” (Etzel and Gutierrez, Praxis Beyond Theory, 2012, p 61) AS Christians, one knows, without a doubt, that we are created in his image. Therefore, we have to always keep in that mindset. The Bible says “if it is teaching, let him encourage; If it is contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously; If it is leadership, let him govern diligently; If it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully.
