1. Learning outcome 1: Be able to identify and agree performance objective

1.1 The link between individual, team and organizational objectives:

The link between individual, team and organizational performance is meeting the objective of the organization.

* Individual performance - understands and agrees on the objectives, task and standards they monitor and develop their own performance. * Organization performance - defines mission, values, strategies, task standards performance measures and they monitor and develop organizational team and individual performance * Team performance- focus on achieving the team’s key objective which can be positive or negative

1.2 Individual and team objectives: * In selecting the individual objectives the individual should be given task that is in keeping with qualification, skill and experience while with the team take in consideration of personality, behavior, skills knowledge and experience.

1.3 Individual and team responsibility in achieving objectives * Behavior performance * Motivation * Task orientated * Getting the job done * Good communication skill * Listening skills * Being able to take constructed critique

1.4 In order for the objective of the organization to be met there must be an environment of trust and support from all. Persons should be given task that they capable of handling, person must feel a sense of trust being place in them to perform the task given, person must be confident in discussing issues affecting them from performing the task.

Learning outcome 2: Be able to assess performance and provide feedback

2.1 Evaluate and assess individual and team performance against objective * Legal issues- if there any legal loopholes in constructing the performance evaluation * Struggle for complete objectivity- some employees
