Peerless: Vice President of the United States and Supply Chain
1. Assume you are the CEO of Peerless Products and that you are aware of your company’s lack of overall end to end supply chain capability. What are some of the high levels, adverse impacts on your business that may occur?
The impacts that may occur with a lack of end to end supply chain capabilities are:
Impacts on how the company sells its products
Impacts on taking orders
Impacts on the plans of distributions
Impacts on the size of warehouses
All these impacts can affect you, when you don’t have an end to end supply chain capability.

2. What steps would you recommend be taken to help avoid the types of adverse impacts identified above?
I will recommend them to take the best partners and I will recommend them to limit the impact of supply chain disruptions by identifying the risks within your supply chain and developing ways to mitigate them.

3. As CEO, what would be your expectations of the company’s vice president of supply chain with respect to the potential problems at hand? How would you compare and contrast expectations of the vice president of supply chain with those of the vice president of manufacturing?
As a CEO, I will expect him to find a solution for the problem in hand or I will expect him to control the problem we have in hand so that this won’t grow.
And from both presidents (Supply chain and manufacturing) I will expect them to handle their problems and I will expect them to find a solution that helps both of them.
