pc gaming research paper
PCs are a good choice for gaming for a multitude of reasons, including but not limited to price, reparability, upgradability, value, versatility, performance, game selection, game prices, and more. Computers are an ever-evolving platform. It grows in power, capability, and value almost every single year. The cause of this improvement is partially because it is free of control from any single entity. Rather than being regulated by a single company, control and improvement influence over the PC belongs to everyone equally. Everybody has the freedom to create and/or sell software and hardware for it. It's being constantly improved by competing companies and individuals all over the hardware spectrum, and all of them are trying to offer you (and game developers) the best experience possible.
A common misconception is that pc gaming is more expensive than consoles. It is not. Especially if you only plan to target console performance. There are already graphics cards available on the market for $150 that surpass the PS4 and XBox One in terms of frame rate, resolution, detail, value, and power draw. A lot of people incorrectly believe that you have to spend upwards of $750-$1000 to get a PC fully capable of handling games. These inaccuracies can be attributed partially to the highly vocal and misinformed masses, and to the availability and hype of the expensive PC hardware we see advertised a lot. You see it more because it's advertised more. Why is it advertised more? Because the companies make more money from selling it as opposed to their mainstream and value offerings. The mainstream/budget parts are the ones you should be looking at; not the $2000+ enthusiast gear. PC hardware is cheaper today than it has ever been! When taking a look at the measly selection of replaceable and upgradable hardware that some consoles offer, you'll always find a cheaper and better alternative for your PC. In fact, you can build a PC right now that will outperform "next-gen" consoles

One day I really wanted a new Xbox One S, but it was $400. All I needed was $50 dollars and I could get the Xbox One S. I worked graciously and tiresome for that money. Time pays off and I finally had enough money to buy the new Xbox. I was so ecstatic that prayed thankfully to my grandfather and the lord. Now I have my friends, relatives and my uncle come over from different states to play with me and congratulate myself. When my uncle came from New York he was so excited that he brought his games and we played for a long amount of time. My uncle said, "you should…

Linda Bernstein’s article “Gaming the Console” addresses the possible effects that video gaming has on teenagers and children. The article supports both sides of the debate: whether or not video gaming has negative consequences. Ultimately, Bernstein lets the reader form his or her own opinion on the subject. Some scientists and experts claim that video gaming is harmful as it may negatively affect areas of the brain, academic and social skills, and can become highly addictive. I think that all servicemen and women should be able to keep their dog that had been with them. In my opinion they have been with them the whole time while deployed whether it is a couple weeks or 6 months. When a serviceman or woman gets injured that is the last thing they need to worry about is if the dog that was by their side while getting hurt is ok and has a great new owner! So therefore is a good reason why they should be kept. These people have already spent months with these dogs training them and taking great care of them but after they have gotten hurt the dog is taken away. According to passage “Call of Duty” people say that nothing really ever felt right without their dog.…

When the class was told to write about a “keep-sake” that we’ve all held onto over the years, only one thing crossed my mind: The first check I received from professional gaming. Some people could say that there is nothing special about a check you receive for doing something as meaningless as gaming, but I say NAY! Getting this check not only marked the start of my career as a professional gamer, and allowed me to gain four of my closest friends to this day, but also it marked the day I became one of the youngest professional gamers in the world, with a salary.…

First, it is important to get the right parts together; you cannot simply put random parts together and expect them to work. Building a computer requires some research into the types of hardware and software that are needed. Selecting the right configuration, whether your computer will be a gaming machine, internet surfer, work computer or used for graphics design, you should design your computer to fit your needs. Gaming machines and graphics design computers tend to need more hardware than internet and work computers because they run programs that use a lot of the hardware. Next, think about processor type. Intel’s processors are usually the better built processors, but cost more; whereas AMD’s cost less, but are considered the “Fords” of PCs because of the fact that most PC experts believe AMD processors to be weak compared to Intel Processors. Now, think about what type of graphics you desire, onboard or a graphics card. Onboard graphics have less capacity than graphics cards do, but are cheaper because it is a part of the motherboard. This brings you to motherboards; determine if you need performance or not. Motherboard prices range from $70.00 to $400.00. Power supplies can be the easiest component. Most new systems need 450 watts or more, while…
