Paris Paris is the capital and largest city of France. It is situated on the river Seine, in northern France, at the heart of the Ile-de-France region. Paris has a population of about 2,230,000. Its metropolitan area is one of the largest population centers in Europe, with more than 12 million inhabitants. Paris is the most elegant capital of the world so different from the rest of France, that it is sometimes called a "city-state." City of all time, Paris has preserved signs of the past, and the romanticism of modern times. There is everything for everyone - for drama, music lovers, art lovers, for lovers of all kinds of entertainment and business. It attracts people by the unique atmosphere of old streets like the Latin Quarter. The most stylish and elegant capital of Europe. It attracts people by originality of ancient streets and boulevards that breathe history. The uniqueness of the monuments and wealth of museums known all over the world. Restaurants and cafes are famous for excellent French cuisine and fine wines. Paris is one of the most popular and wonderful places to visit in Europe. Paris is one of the most beautiful cities in the world, which is full of magnificent buildings, rich monuments of material culture and art, historical attractions that attract tourists from many countries. Champs-Elysees is considered to be the main highway street, where the presidential palace is located. One end of this road goes to the Etoile, from which radiate 12 streets. In the center there is the Arc de Triomphe with the tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Not far from the palace, on the Ile de la Cité, is one of the masterpieces of the medieval art, Cathedral of Notre Dame. In the silhouette of the city with its western side stands the Eiffel Tower, which is the highest building in Europe. Paris is the main cultural center of France. In its universities 70 percent of all students in the country study. Here is the famous Sorbonne University, College de France, Ecole Polytechnique and the Paris Academy of Sciences and other major universities. The National library has 5,000,000 books and valuable manuscripts. The Louvre and Versailles are very famous in the city. The well worth visiting place is Louvre. It is not only a landmark, like the palace of French kings, but also it is one of the most famous museums in the world. It contains a rich collection of various exhibits. Here you can find Egyptian painting and etc. In Paris, there are more than 60 museums. As you know, Paris is romantic city in Europe, where there is the equal right of art and love. Countless experiences await those who prefer to meet Paris and Parisians, walking through streets. Paris is the most romantic city in the world. Many celebrities often wrote in their biographies that Paris is the most favorite city on the planet. The capital of France is the perfect and superb place for romantic trip, and the whole atmosphere sets the romantic mood. Paris is often called the city of love. In conclusion, Paris is made of history, art, fashion, business, life, street cafes, cabarets and, of course, romance.
