I absolutely had to use a photo of Princess Diana because I was a huge fan of hers. I remember watching her wedding on television when I was a young child, and I cried like a baby when she met her untimely demise. I don't recall every crying like that when a celebrity died, but she was my heroine and I loved her! Since then I've kept up with the ins and outs of the Royal Family and the shenanigans of Prince Harry, my now favorite Prince. He is a Princess Diana reincarnated in the male form. Lives by his own rules and with not a care in the world. Madison and I were able to visit the Madame Tussauds London museum while on our trip to London just recently, thanks to the kind folks of Merlin Entertainment. Since this is most likely the only way we'll ever get to the meet the Royal Family we just had to do it. Now if you're thinking all wax museums are the same, well Madame Tussauds London is on a whole new level of awesome. I've…
Walt Disney once said, “If you can dream it, you can do it.” Disney took this idea of his and made it real when he opened Walt Disney World in 1971. Disney is called the most magical place on earth because of the amount of imagination and magic that happens there every day. Walt Disney World is a fanciful place filled with princesses, mice, castles, fireworks, sword fights, music, and imagination. Imagination is a very powerful tool, not just for kids, but for all humans. Imagination makes it possible for us to see a whole world inside our mind. Disney takes our fantasy world and makes it real. All children have a fantasy that they are princesses or knights or princes, and at Disney they become the imagined character they want to be. Disney takes the unreal and makes it real. People go to Disney to experience a once in a lifetime opportunity of seeing imagination come to life through characters, attractions, and magic at Walt Disney World.…

Jenny (2) McIntosh is a child psychologist, family therapist and research consultant and is also the director of Family Transitions. She stated that “Since July 2006, a quiet revolution has been occurring in family law, following the amendment to the family law (shared parental responsibility) act. Although the new law promotes shared parenting, it’s a model that doesn’t always work. There’s still a long way to go.”…
What's more, in this day and age when the divorce rate is around 50%, and when so many people seem to be out for themselves first -- or themselves alone -- mom and dad continue to serve as the greatest, sweetest example of what love and respect and This is really a beautiful occasion -- the 50th wedding anniversary, the GOLDEN anniversary -- of our parents, Warren and Ann-Marie Rodriguez. On behalf of my brothers, I'll say this: We three have sure been lucky to have those two as our parents. We always felt that way.…
The memorable quote "All gave some...Some gave all" really describes the emotion all of us as Americans should have towards our flag. Memorial Day is a tribute to those who died for our country. We use our flag to honor them by decorating their graves. If that doesn't show the honor that comes along with our flag, nothing…

People in the United States take many things for granted, especially the food they eat. Even here in this school, I see students dispose their unfinished meals into the garbage, people complain about how bad the hamburgers or pizza are, and wish for the cheap sodas and unhealthy foods they once had. You see children in the third world don’t have opportunities like you and I do here. They don’t all have education, books, shelter, or even the decency of food like we do. The world produces enough food to everyone yet 15 million children die of malnutrition every year. The…

The speaker is Steve Scoggins who is the preacher at First Baptist Church of Opelika. The setting was in a big white church with several members. We were greeted with big smiles and the church bulletin. My family and I sat in the balcony like most Sunday mornings. We sang hymns and songs and prayed the Lord’s Prayer before we heard the message. It was an early father’s day morning. The weather was beautiful with a few clouds insight. Pastor Steve spoke for about thirty minutes. The audience was full of people of all ages. It was filled with families that love the Lord. The audience was very attentive and responsive. The speaker is full of knowledge of the bible. He attended college and has a degree. He continues to study books of the bible every day. He was dressed nice wearing a button-up shirt, jacket and dress shoes. He delivered the speech in a very informative but timely manner. The message he gave the audience was full of clarity and very well organized. He stated three main points of the message and explained further in detail. Pastor Steve Scoggins told the audience personal stories and advice that everyone could relate to. He was very personable and easy to listen to. The pastor spoke to many hearts and I believe he reached out to several souls that were listening. The message was very relevant to the audience and the information given was very practical, useful, and overall informative. I enjoyed listening to the speaker and will continue watching him deliver many more message from our God, Jesus…
What do I have in common with Edgar Allan Poe, John Lennon, Steve Jobs, and Eleanor Roosevelt? We are all adopted. Adoption is the act of transferring parental rights and duties to someone other than the adopted person 's biological parents. The process of adoption is long, can be expensive, and varies greatly from state to state. Not only do adoptions vary from state to state but there is variation within a state.…

During my 18 years, I’ve learned how important family is. Your family will always be there for you no matter what. My family supports me in everything I do. All their time and money cannot express how much they love me because love is more than any of that. Love between families is a special bond of time, laughs, smiles and memories. Love is something that family doesn’t have to say to each other because we already know and I am blessed to have a family that loves me in every way possible.…
