ABSTRACT: WidgeCorps’s management team had a lack in understand of some of the key multivariate statistical techniques used by many companies to measure how variables react with one another. This paper will discuss how three of these techniques are commonly used and provides a recommendation for the company to use as they move forward with research and development of new products. This paper also compares and contrasts the different multivariate techniques.
KEYWORDS: multivariate techniques, Chi-Square Test, multidimensional scaling

There are many different multivariate techniques commonly used in businesses across the world. This paper will compare three commonly used techniques including factor analysis, multi-dimensional scaling, and cluster analysis. Additionally, I will provide my recommendation for WidgeCorp to follow as we move forward and dive into the cold beverage market.
To begin, it is important to have a clear understanding about why and how a company will use multivariate techniques as part research. The term multivariate technique is somewhat of a blanket-term which includes many different techniques used by statisticians and researchers in many different fields, (Dayton, 2012). Multivariate techniques allow for companies to perform research on more than one variable to determine if there is a relationship between them. For many companies, the multivariate techniques are used to effective measure quality and safety, (Yang, 2010). WidgeCrop will be able to use each of the techniques as we move forward with our new business ventures into the cold beverage market.
Factor Analysis:
Factor analysis is one of the many techniques that can be used in different types of research projects. Factor analysis is most often used to compare variables which have a correlation to other confounding variables, (Dayton, 2012). Factor analysis will prove helpful after we have developed our products and are testing the new beverages in different markets. As an

My case is the one of fourteen year old James Ingraham vs. his middle school principle Willie J. Wright Jr. James’ parents are suing the Middle school their son attends (Charles R. Drew Junior High School) because they feel that their son was condemned to cruel and unusual punishment and has lost his liberty as a citizen of the United States. On October 6, 1970, Ingraham and another student were called into the principal’s office. James’ offense was failing to leave the school auditorium stage when instructed to do so by a teacher. Once in the principal’s office, James announced his innocence against the accusations of the teacher. Mr. Wright was unconvinced and ordered Ingram to bend over the table so that Wright could spank him using the discipline paddle. Ingraham refused to do so, and Wright began to force James’ head down on the table. The assistant Principal, Lemmie Deliford, assisted Wright by holding Ingraham’s legs. Wright then proceeded to strike Ingram with the paddle over 20 times, resulting in Ingram getting a hematoma. The hematoma resulted in Ingraham being hospitalized and requiring rest for eleven days.…

I feel as I have many strengths in communication but the top two that come to the top of my head are fearlessness and multilingual. To expand on that, with fearlessness comes an outgoing personality and that helps me with communicating to everyone. I am able to talk to anyone that is willing to talk back and if you came and heard the conversation you would think that I knew the person for years when in reality I only knew him or her for a few seconds. This helped me when I was a child I always had a lot of friends sometimes to many to even talk to all of them but I found away, all those friends were from different groups or cliques, and that shows that I can fit in with anyone. As for being bilingual that helps now and in the future. Now I go to Spain and I communicate with everyone from there and am able to get along with everyone where if you don’t speak the language you might not get that opportunity. As for the future, most companies are looking for people who have more credentials and what’s better than being able to speak another language.…

Data signal is a mode of physical data transmission usually in binary code in signals or pulses from one source point to one or more destination point. Data is transformed into electromagnetic signals prior to transmission across a network. Data and video signal are typically encoded utilizing a digital methodology where voice is typically encoded utilizing an analog format. In analog technology, sound is recorded in its original form. Therefore, for instance, if making a recording of the sound, the audio is taken straight from the microphone and stored onto the storage media. The wave from the microphone is an analog wave, and therefore the wave on the tape is analog as well. That wave on the tape can be read, amplified and put through a sound system to produce the original sound. In digital technology, the video or data is turned into numbers that are stored on a digital device such as a computer. The more samples that are taken the more closely the digital data reflect the original data or video signal. Another option is that the data and video are directly encoded into digital format to start with and does not require sampling. In addition to this, Voice signals are generally less data intensive as only the audio part is captured and is compressed efficiently. On the other hand, Video signals require more a larger bandwidth to receive or send as more information travels in the same signal strength. Most older PBX systems do not have VoIP support while some of the newer ones, called IP PBX, supports VoIP. VoIP when implemented in a PBX system can result in a seamless integration.…
