Socio-Economic Issues in Pakistan
1. POVERTY:
According to different surveys conducted by different organizations 40%of a country’s population is earning their life below the poverty-line in which the people are deprived of basic necessities of life such as clothing, shelter, food, education and health.
2. ILLITERACY:
Majority of the people are almost unaware of technologies and technical education. People are poor and they can’t afford fee of private schools and the condition of Govt. schools is miserable and majority of the people didn’t like to send their children in govt. schools. Even there are no schools or universities in villages.
3. Energy Crisis:
Electricity shortage is the major Problem facing today. Pakistan suffers from a massive electricity shortage since last 6 years. Most of industries are in the country are closed due energy crisis. Labor of the country is deprived of their jobs and living hand to mouth life. Load Shedding and power blackouts are becoming more severe with every passing day in Pakistan. The main problem of Pakistan is political instability, together with rising demands for power and lack of competent Govt. administration.
4. Terrorism:
Terrorism in Pakistan has become a major vicious occurrence in recent years. The whole world assumes Pakistan, as a land of terrorists. After 9/11 War on Terrorism is imported to Pakistan with the Co-operation of our most important alliance against war on terror USA. To achieve its interest USA is violating our interests. Suicide Bomb attacks in Pakistan are become a very common incident in Pakistan. Thousands of innocent Pakistani people have lost their lives in these boom attacks.
5. Corruption and Political Instability
The Corrupt politicians are not sincere with the country. Their property even children are in abroad. They are protecting their own interest they have no concern with the problems of common people. In Pakistan in every department you will see officers having record corruption and
