“Images have cognitive, emotional, and behavioral effects on audiences (pg. 242).” For example, if we like something and we hear or see something positive about it, it confirms the image we have in our heads. I believe a poster design is the best way to advertise the Company. “Posters provide a logical and cost-effective way of communicating to a particular target market. When placed correctly, attractive posters can lure nearby people into a specific event and alert them of an upcoming product or service (Tolliday).” I want to introduce the design for PlayNow. A poster/flyer that I will have duplicated, laminated and wrapped in other necessary coverings. The poster has plain white background with the PlayNow logo centered with big black letters. Under the play now logo is a smaller variation of the mission statement in place for the company. Beneath the mission statement we see visual images. The visual images are in place for emotional appeal. “If the image of source is realistic, we form an emotional connection to the object (Pg. 243).” Message composition involves composing a single theme or message for the audience to consider. “PlayNow” is the organization message intended to reach the public to persuade viewers to move and be active. It is the first thing that catches your eye on the poster…

Organizations depend on their business relationships with other organizations in order to stay competitive in today’s business world. Organizations tend to spread their business related projects to outside businesses to lighten the load on projects and cost that are done internally. Organizations allow other businesses to handle projects involving marketing, product distribution, and others that can be externally without direct contribution from the primary organization. Business to Business(B2B) messages are the common form of communication that is used between businesses. B2B messages can be either traditional mail, e-mail, or fax and commonly are the basis of any starting business relationship. These forms of B2B messages are used to communicate information between different locations and departments within organizations. Formal letters are still the most traditional means of common communication between organizations that do not utilize technology like email or fax. An employee that would like to request a vacation day would use a B2B message by e-mail to communicate with the supervisor. The sender or employee would expect a response from the message. The response to the message would either grant or deny the request of the sender in the business relationship.…
