Section One: Introduction
Nokia – the Finnish Information Technology multinational giant – can be understood as nothing but an important milestone within the modern day organizational change management concepts. Together with increased attention paid towards organizational change management Nokia has become one of the main considerations due to certain ups and downs which the organization has been compelled to undertake as a result of poor organizational change management. This is where the case study concentrates on Nokia as an organization which has featured poor leadership, a series of misses, slow product development and marketing efforts as well as weak collaboration within internal segments of the organization lately.
There can also be certain reasons towards this downgrade highlighted above through various elements. For instance, there may be challenges and threats arising from competitors in the market such as Apple and Samsung which have already gained steady market share in the present. Moreover, when it comes to international business relationships there may be challenges rising from countries such as China which manufactures almost one third of the mobile phones sold and used around the world. This too can be understood as a formidable threat towards the organization in consideration, Nokia.
However, when analyzing the case study quite deeply it also becomes evident that the organization in consideration – Nokia – should develop strong relationships between forces of the internal as well as external
