oreos v.s chips ahoy
Farnage Miclis
If I had to choose between Oreo cookie or Chips Ahoy I will go with Chips Ahoy all the way. Chips Ahoy is healthier Oreos has so much fat. Many people has heart problems from eating Oreo cookies all time. I’m carving for something creamy.
To start off, Chips Ahoy is way healthier than Oreo cookies. For example Oreo cookies have more sugar than Chips Ahoy. Chips Ahoy has 11 grams of sugar and Oreos has 14 grams of sugar. Although this doesn’t seem like a lot, most people have the tendency to have more than one serving especially when eating cookies. In recent studies people eat about 8,000 Oreo cookies in their lifetime. This is resulting in to 112,000 fats in a lifetime or about 4 Oreo cookies everyday which is more than a serving size every day. Wow that a lot a fat each day!
To keep things going, Oreos has caused many people to have heart problems. 100 million people get diagnosed with heart problems and Oreo cookies are one of the leading problems. One of the biggest issues in Oreos is that they fry the Oreos. Even though the Oreo industry is still growing and changing ever day, people still don’t get the idea that this is bad for us. So why are we eating a dessert than upraises the chances of getting these heart problems?
To wrap things up, I think Chips Ahoy is a great cookie. It is healthier and many people has heart problem form eating too much Oreos. Which one would you choose?

What do you typically order when dining at McDonald’s or Wendy’s? When I am having a meal from either place, my favorite choice is a fried chicken sandwich with lettuce, tomato, bacon and extra mayo. Sometimes, I may make it a combo and enjoy the greasy, salty french fries and an ice cold soft drink. Most of their customers often purchase the unhealthiest options because they feel as if that is what fast food is all about, right? Fortunately, it does not have to be that way. Fast food can be convenient and nutritious. Wendy’s and McDonald’s are both fast food restaurants, so they are alike in many ways. However, each one also possesses distinct characteristics that allow it to stand out from the rest of the fast food chains. Each restaurant offers a variety of healthy and unhealthy products for their patrons.…

When people eat a bag of potato chips they do not usually look to see how many calories are in each bag. Potato chips come in a variety of flavors, including: barbecue, sour cream and onion, and salt and vinegar. According to Harvard University analysis the average person eats about 6 lbs of potato chips a year. The purpose of this experiment was to inform readers that were not already aware of how much grease are in the potato chips of their choice. There is a difference between reading the label, and physically seeing how much grease are in these chips. When a person sees the grease physically it might make them put the chips back on the shelf vs them reading the label. The hypothesis stated in this experiment was that the bag of Lays classic potato chips were going to contain the most grease. After eating lays potato chips according to some of the subjects, they seemed to have a grease residue left on their hands after eating the chips.…

    The History of Popchips

Popchips is a brand of potato chips that are unique and claimed to be a lot healthier (and tastier) than the ordinary leading brands of potato chips. Contrary to the usual potato chips that are out there, Popchips use the method of “popping” their potatoes rather than baking them or frying them – which the other brands usually do to their products. Popchips believe that by using the method of popping their chips can make Popchips’ chips healthier because it contains less fat than if we fried them, and it also retain more flavors because the chips are not being baked. The texture of Popchips itself is also thicker compared to other leading chips out there, and the texture is also different and unique. According to John Myers; an author for Yahoo Network, Popchips have a taste of more like potato sticks compared to a potato chips, and he intended it as a compliment. As of now, Popchips carried over 12 flavors, and that is only for their potato chips alone, as Popchips also carry tortilla and kettle corn as their brand products. Among them are all time favorite flavors such as barbeque and sour cream & onion to unique flavors such as parmesan and garlic, jalapeno, and thai sweet chili potato.…

And despite ample and increasingly strong evidence about their risks to our health, we consume more than ever. While our individual reasons may be diverse, the primary motivation is the same in each. Scientific studies clearly demonstrate eating junk food has similar addictive patterns to drugs like cocaine and even heroin.…
