ABSTRACT

The researcher main purpose for conducting this research is to help people to limits in buying too expensive ointments from a drugstore. You can make your own ointment at home out of lagundi and oregano leaves but with some medicinal qualities or uses.
You must fry first the chopped leaves until crisp then second Strain it. Add the grated candle to the oil. Heat over low heat until the candle way is melted. Mix it well. Last, transfer to the ointment jars before the mixture hardens.
I recommend my project to those people who wants cheaper medicine but with same qualities.

INTRODUCTION

An ointment is a viscous semisolod preparation used topically on variety of body surface. These include the skin and the mucous membrane of the eye. Titration: In this finely subdivided insoluble medicaments are evenly distributed by grinding with a small amount of base followed by dilution with gradually increasing amount of the base.

Ointments are homogenous, semisolid preparations intended for external application to the skin or mucous membranes. It is very important to know some informations on this research project to aid you and to see more clearly about oregano and lagundi.

Significance of the Study Nowadays, commercial ointment is so expensive and many people have no money to buy it. Our country is in crises today, so we must think of a better alternative for a much cheaper medicine.

Statement of the Problem

This study aims to answer the following questions:
1. What is the main uses of Lagundi and oregano ointment?
2. Is it really a better substitute for expensive commercial ointment?
3. How can you make your own ointments?

General Objective The study’s main objective is to help other people limit in buying expensive ointments from different drugstores.
Specific Objectives
1. To produce an ointment from lagundi and oregano leaves ;
2. To compare the homemade ointment from the commercially available in terms of
