Orchestra Observation
One of the actions I perform out of compassion and kindness is stacking chairs and music stands after rehearsing with my orchestra. It’s a lot of work because there are a lot of people, and our director is often left to it by himself. He’s an older gentleman, so it’s hard on him to lift the heavy chairs and walk back and forth while picking up all the music stands. Mentally, I am thinking about he difficult it would be for him to perform this task if he were left by himself. It would take him a long time to complete it alone, and normally the task must be done after a long day of rehearsing. I think about how he loves his family, and every time he has to stay late tidying up after rehearsal, he missing time with his loved ones. I think about
