Oppression And Discrimination In The Workplace
In my workplace, where I worked for over a year, I witnessed both oppression and discrimination. However, at the time I did not realise it was a form of oppression and discrimination, and so I did not understand the full extent of the situation. But now my understanding is that it was, and it could have been stopped. The situation was, many of my fellow workers got paid different wages and the difference was between male and female workers. Throughout working there, people was aware of this but they thought it was due to other reasons and not based on gender.
