Through understanding “Sexual Harassment: Violence Against Women in the Workplace” it can be understood that one in every two woman will face violence in the workplace, this is often degrading, traumatizing and often violent(Fitzgereld,1993). Unfortunately, this is a norm several woman fear when entering the workplace, one that men often do not. Lastly, this essay will explain the idea of the pay gap. Through the works of “Pay Differences Among the Highly Trained: Cohort Differences in the Sex Gap in Lawyers' Earnings” the idea of the pay gap can support the idea of inequality in the workplace, this article outlines different occupations, and the pay gap between woman and man in these specific industries. Women are continually feeling the effects of the pay gap, and continue to feel inequality in the workforce.
