CASE STUDY NO. 1
The Wilshire Public library has received funding from the Wilshire country commissionaires to upgrade its desktop computers and servers. Currently, they are using an old Windows NT server to catalogue library holdings. Also there are Windows 98 computers that the librarians use in their offices. Library patrons use Windows 95 and Windows 98 computers within the library to access the catalogue of holdings electronically (or they use the old card catalogue, which is cards arranged in banks of drawers in the catalogue section of the library).

What are some limitations of the present Windows 95 and 98 Computers for use in the context of this library, compared to more modern operating systems? In what ways would library patrons & staff benefit from using more modern operating systems?
➢ We have many different Operating System and every of them have the limitation. If we came back to the early 1995, Microsoft develop one of the most oriented version of the OS. It is the W95,it was design to have support for the 32-bit pre-emptive multitasking. It also released different version that every version was upgraded, like the W95A included W95 OSR1 slipstreamed into the installation. The W95B it was included several major enhancements, (IE) 3.0 and full FAT32 file system support and W95B USB which conduct basic USB IE 4.0. And the next window that Microsoft released was the W98. It included new hardware, it better support for the FAT32 file system which allows support for disk partitions larger than the 2GB maximum accepted by W95. The USB support in W98 is more bust than the basic support provided by the OEM edition of W95. It also controversially integrated the Internet Explorer browser into the windows Gul and windows explorer file manager. It released again a second edition which expands by added notable features.
