CHAPTER ONE

1.0 General Introduction
Online Self Assessment Test System (OSATS) is a fully automated secured web based system or application that allows students to efficiently evaluate themselves thoroughly before examination as a form of preparation.
Usually during examination week students will like to have hands on pass questions, marking schemes and try out on likely exam questions to check how fully prepared they are or how enough they have learnt, but in this case gaining access to these resources are a bit of a nightmare. Students spend awful amount of time at the library going through piles of papers to find pass questions often or not it might be missing or even a breakdown of the photocopier machine denying them the access to gain a copy, making it even more stressful, in these case students are forced to write down everything on paper at the end you have so much paper it becomes frustrating to learning and easy to lose information.
Online Self Assessment Test System will provide students with easy access to examination tips, notes, handouts, 30 multiple choice questions within limited time to solve (likely exam questions) with instant results & grading, graphical representation of students performance, easy access to pass questions & answers, and marking schemes also all materials can be downloaded in PDF file format for later reference. This will create a more flexible atmosphere for learning which can increase the performance of students overall.
