The Problem and its Settings
1.1 Introduction
Nowadays, computer is one of the technologies that most people use in their everyday lives. The use of computer is one of the fastest growing and most important development in our time. People used computers to give easiest and fastest method of finding information. Computers began from a wild imaginative idea to the world’s highly prioritized tool. Computers today are now used as a substitute for manual processes and other past inventions like the radio, television, and more. It is now used by people for much simpler, easier and faster way to do things. Some used it as a hobby, and some use it as a job. Computers are just known as a piece of equipment where awesome package of glass, plastic, metal and wires use to make our work easier. It is one way to achieve changes, which can create different things through using its features. Computers are efficient tools in processing data into useful information. They are essential tools in almost every field of research and applied technologies because of their capabilities. And because of the widespread use and availability of computers, it is essential that everyone acquires an understanding to be ignorant of the important role of computers in any career or business of choice. Being computer literate it can give anyone great competitive advantages.
Information System is an academic or professional discipline bridging the business field and the well defined Computer Science or Information Technology field that is evolving toward a new scientific area of study. It's important because it improves the effectiveness and efficiency of an organization. We need information system because I.S. explores the direct application of software design and development to the business domain. So a business user will be much more effective in his or her job if they have at least some knowledge of how this application works to meet their needs.
