It obviously talks about God our Father who created us in His own image and likeness, whom stays with us, and never fails us. Its purpose is to open our blocked minds, and to make us feel that we have our Creator who is loving and waiting for us to come with Him. “Is there a god is he watching” (Miguel 2012). The song starts off by questioning god’s existence. Around this time period many countries in the Arab world were having civil wars and many acts of violence. In the United States, there were many social conflicts were going on. “On February 26, 2012, Trayvon Martin, a 17-year-old African American boy, was shot and killed by George Zimmerman, a 28-year-old Neighborhood Watch coordinator of a gated community in Sanford, Florida… African American youth, joined by older black Americans, and often by people of other races organized protests not only in Florida where Martin had been killed, but in cities from New York to Los Angeles” (New Politics Dan La Botz December 31, 2012)…

I was going river rafting in Moab, getting my wisdom teeth out, simply put I would be experiencing new things. I was nervous and scared. When I heard this song I felt at peace. This line in the song portrays the most Christian theme. My interpretation on this theme is forgiveness. This is one of the most important Christians themes. Forgiveness is portrayed in this line because God knows We will make mistakes and learn from them, but We all are thankful that God forgives us. I have seen this theme in my life because no one was perfect except for Jesus so we all need God to forgive our sins. That theme of forgiveness portrayed this song is probably of the most important themes in our lives.…

Who exactly is God? And, what revelation would He give me if I really find out? I don’t know the answers to these questions, but I love the mystery. I love the questions.…

The presence of God, symbolic or otherwise, has meant more to people of faith than the presence of multitudes either for or against them. When God chooses to announce his presence or be present in a tangible way then things take on an awesome magnitude. This was so in the case of Daniel in the lions’ den, the three Hebrew boys in the fire and here in our text when Paul was in the middle of a ferocious storm. Why then, we may ask, is God’s presence so important? There are many factors beneficial to believers based on God’s presence and a few of them are as…
