One Direction isn't an Inspiration
One Direction isn’t an Inspiration? People think that One Direction is just a boy band. They may call them gay. They may call them stupid. They may call them untalented. They may call them idiots, but have they ever realized that they aren’t just singers. People don’t see the point in these boys. All they see is the face, not the background. All they hear is the music, not the lyrics. All they feel towards these boys is hate and dislike. But none of them realize, these boys have saved more lives than they ever will, including mine.
I used to starve, cut, cry myself to sleep, hated every inch of my body, and wanted to die, but One Direction have taught me so many things in the past three years in their own way and made me realize that it was stupid for doing those things. Harry Styles, the curly haired boy, made me believe that you don’t need to be super skinny and gorgeous to get a guy. He also taught me age isn’t the biggest problem in a relationship. The only Irish member, Niall Horan, taught me it’s okay to be different. He made me believe that some guys really will wait for the girl of their dreams, not just the other way around. Louis Tomlinson, the oldest member, made me believe it’s okay to be immature no matter how old you are. He taught me people can change and dress how I like no matter what people say to me. The more matured band mate, Liam Payne, convinced me that if you want something bad enough and you keep trying, you can reach your goals, even if you fail the first time. He also inspired me to change it up every so often. The last member who is real inspiring is Zayn Malik. He is the most inspiring person to me because he taught me that being shy can be a good thing sometimes. Also, he taught me that it’s okay to be happy with your appearance, and to love yourself. If the haters don’t believe me now, then one last thing, they made girls feel beautiful and brought fans closer together. We are family.
To people, they might just be some average

The Sex Pistols were created with a certain image by Malcolm McLaren and that is why they were not seen in the same way as Milli Vanilli were. The depiction of the sex Pistols being an “early boy band” cannot be logically defended because there is no real proof of that assumption. The most important aspect of the case study is the outcomes of both the artists.…

A boy band featured between three and six young adult males who typically sang, but did not play instruments. The boy bands of the 1990s were often created by record companies or talent agencies, and they often had a commercial orientation. A boy band’s image was often one of the most important elements of the group, perhaps even more so than the music itself. Almost all aspects of the group’s image were carefully controlled, from their dress to even the stereotypes that the group members fit into, such as the "bad boy," the "baby," and the "nice boy." Performances by the boy bands often featured highly choreographed dance routines.…

The Goo Goo Dolls music is also relevant to my ever-changing life. The music caused me to do research on the band this lead me to www.robbyslobby.com, which I feel is a poorly designed site. This site is what led me to come back to school to learn website design. I hope that, when I finish my degree, I’ll redesign his website for him. The last way that they have impacted me is that, they can change my mood. Barry Farber in his book Rock ‘n’ Roll Wisdom wrote, “ We…

In the wake of Liam Payne’s new baby, and the several reactions of fans and anti-fans I decided to take a closer look at the rhetoric between artist and fans, as well as the ill perceived image of fans by other audiences. In 2013 the movie “This Is Us” by Morgan Spurlock was released. The movie is a documentary about the biggest boy band since Take That and Backstreet Boys, One Direction. The motion picture didn’t only focus on the band and their Take Me Home tour, it also had an emphasize on their…

There are a lot of people in this world, some can be described as extraordinary, or simply extra ordinary. You view people differently than everyone else in this world, and how you let them mold you is exclusive and unique to you and you only. Some influences are negative and some are positive, my most memorable is positive. Nicki Minaj sculpted my life in a way that no one else has or will due to her stance on feminism, hardworking attitude, and contagious confidence.…

They influence you to be the best that you could be. Nowadays, we are being exposed to negative role models in the music industry. Many celebrities don’t realize that they are a role model to others. Some celebrities are not aware that their music motivates and inspires many people. For example, Miley Cyrus. Many people see her as a horrible role model because of her actions lately. Many believe that she has changed for the worst and instead of encouraging her fans to do good, she has developed an auspicious image of herself. Miley transitioned from an inspirational character on Disney Channel to a rebel involved with drugs, alcohol, and being provocative. Young kids look up to her and she is demonstrating a poor example because she’s influencing them to make careless, terrible decisions in the future. She makes her actions seem acceptable when in reality, they’re…

They are the original version of One Direction with catchy music and boys that every girl has a crush on. Whether or not you are a “belieber” that the Beatles are the best, you cannot deny the influence they had on the genre of pop music and all other genres as well. For instance, BBC News online readers named Beatle member Paul McCartney as the “greatest composer of the millennium” and Guinness World Records listed Paul McCartney as the most successful musician and composer in popular music history ("Paul…

Lastly, music has become something that has taught me the importance of leadership, teamwork and friendship. It taught me that leadership isn't about telling others what to do. Leadership is about helping others and being someone other look up to. Music helped me become friends with people I had never talked to before, making them now my best friend. It helped me create a harmony between each and every person in my choir to show our full…
