Product Line- Maruti Suzuki has a product line of 16 cars inclusive of 32 new and refurbished variants in the last 6 years.
Image- Maruti is percieved as a trustworthy brand for the middle-class families. It is not known for its luxury, which was evident from the lack of success of its luxury brands- kizakshi and grand vitiara. It is also known for its fuel efficiency, primary the diesel cars.
Technology and experience: Maruti was the first automobile company established in India and is in operations for the last 33 years. They have established a lot of experience over the period of time. Technologically decently savvy, Maruti has new models coming out with CNG facilities.
Culture:According to a popular site JobBuzz, the top reason to work with Maruti is for the brand name, followed by the learning and development and people in Maruti believes relationship management is the best way to succeed in Maruti. The company strives for a corporate culture with high values of ethical behaviour, individual accountablity and transparent disclosure

Distributors: Maruti has a good distribution system with 933 dealers and 2,946 service stations across India.
Suppliers.: Maruti has various suppliers across India and abroad. Major one of those is DCM engineering, the main supplier of engine components. In a market with diminishing margins, suppliers have to operate with contracts that promote deferred payments which increase the liability of manufacturers by entering into long term contracts with the suppliers thereby not being able to guide the purchasing price beyond a certain point. Accordingly, Maruti Suzuki operates with a number of suppliers for all the raw materials by giving each one a limited share of business to be able to exercise some amount of control on the purchasing price.
