Oliver Chase was a pharmacist in Boston, Massachusetts Chase had an invention that can change the world of candy and medicines. Chase made small discs of medicine that tasted like dirt mixed with grass, so he cover up the taste of medicine by coating the discs with a hard candy shell. It took a long time to make the candy because it had to be shaped by hand like a tiny cookie so he invented a machine that let him make large batches of his candy more quickly and easily. In 2009, Chase’s fans were angry with the company because the company changed the flavors and colors of its candy so was the company was forced to go back to its old formal.
