Olive Garden Website Analysis
The Website I picked was one of my favorite restaurants Olive Garden. I picked this website because I love eating here and I wanted to see what the website displayed. In my essay I will point out the main audience, good things about the site, bad things about the site, and the overall important message of the site. I am looking forward to doing a web analysis on Olive Garden. Also sharing with my readers my thoughts on Olive Garden’s website.

The target audience for Olive Garden I think are families and friends. This is the target audience because they have lots of deals going that would fit a family function. For example they have a deal called lunch duos starting at 6.99. The deal consist of you and a friend getting a good deal on this

This deal is when you buy one meal and get another meal for free. The picture displayed is a picture of two pasta dishes, salad, breadsticks, and an Olive Garden bag. I think the reason why this is the first picture displayed on the site is because Olive Garden wants families to come in and get this deal so the company can get more money and more clientele. I was at Olive Garden a few weeks ago and I did the buy one take one deal. I did the deal with my mom for lunch and we thought the deal was a great idea. We saved lots of money by doing this and the food was very …show more content…
For example in the Catering section of the website if you scroll down to the bottom the font and is very big. They should make everything the same size and not different sizes. To me it looks very out of place and very distorted. This is the only issue I have with the site just everything I think should be the same size. I have been to Olive Garden plenty of times and I have always loved the customer service. Now from looking at their website it shows that they are a very good company. Based off the website I think that the website is displayed very well. Everything from my perspective stands out including the main purpose of their site which is their food and menus.

I think the importance of my site is to get people to come and eat at Olive Garden. They feature a whole selection of different options. They show that they care about their customers and they want people to come and eat at their restaurants. I would recommend the site to anyone who has any information about Olive Garden. The site is very helpful and is very straight

I am currently employed at the Olive Garden in Oshkosh WI so I only thought doing my managerial report project on this service restaurant was appropriate. The Oshkosh Olive Garden was opened in the April of last year and has been running smoothly ever since. Olive Garden is a chain restaurant so there are locations all over the United States around 700 to be exact, this means a lot of the price setting and procedures are set country wide not from restaurant to restaurant. Even so each Olive Garden keeps track of their own sales and personally contributes to the overall company. At Olive Garden we proudly serve lunch and dinner with a casual Italian dining experience. The dinner entrees are priced anywhere from $11- $19 a meal but included unlimited soup or salad and then breadsticks. I have been working at the Olive Garden for about 7 months now so I felt that I knew most of what goes on on the outside of the restaurant but it is time to take a deeper look into the procedures put into this everyday restaurant.…

This step can go along with knowing the place and time for PDA. Between lunch at Subway and dinner at Olive Garden stands a very definitive difference. Subway is a open table, public, food place. Olive Garden is a mood lit, private table, dinner restaurant. A person who goes to Subway is there to eat a sandwich and get out. Not to end up sitting directly in front of an infatuated couple and ultimately lose their appetite. Please, don’t spoil someone’s lunch with some disgusting exchange of saliva. Overall, just be conscientious of the well- being of others.…

My chosen restaurant is Alebrije. Since Alebrije is so close to multiple schools in the 19610 area, it can be said that the target market for Alebrije is the population of 19610 that is at (or almost at) the “young married with children” and all the way through those at the “older married” stage. It is beneficial for Alebrije to target the Generation X consumers, the baby boomers, and the families of heads of household that are over 55. The Generation X consumers are more likely than others to indulge themselves and baby boomers and families with heads of household over 55 are more able to afford spending fifty dollars per meal, than others are. Through its prices, it specifically targets middle class people since they are the only ones who can afford to spend tens of dollars on each specific item.…

Second, the friendly service at Olive Garden makes me feel welcomed. As I drive up, there is a Valet eagerly waiting to assist, so I don’t have to struggle with finding a parking spot or walking a far distance. The host or hostess, always make me feel special asking where I prefer to sit, which is good for my preference. The waitress always makes sure I have everything I need and without asking, I always receive a little extra VIP treatment. Servers are very generous when delivering my order and taking care of all guests. A great thing at Olive Garden is that the manager will walk around the tables and converse, which makes me sense that the managers do care about how I feel there and make sure I’m being treated magnificently.…

The website is visually stunning. There are working videos informing about products and also informing about new information like windows 8 for instance. The website is easy to navigate to find what you want from either searching for a specific item or to view by categories from the top bar on the site. You can even narrow down your search to brand, price, processor, ect. I wouldn’t change anything about the site it is very effective and very useful for finding products easily and to get reliable information about the products.…

Olive Garden’s creed is always “Treating you like you’re family”. The casual attire allowed me to feel relaxed like I was at home. It was loud at times but gave me the feeling of being with a large Italian family eating great food and having a good time. When I see an Olive Garden restaurant, it always appears to be a fancy upscale eatery that would in most cases be out of the price range of most Americans families. The interior of the restaurants, like the exterior, is designed to be a clash between modern and traditional Italian style. Uses of vine, wine bottles, and stones are used throughout the establishment to give a true Italian feel. The building looked like an old cobble stone Italian restaurant that would serve the supper class but is open to all. The walls had very decorative décor, and background music seeking of Italian themes that made me feel like I was in an Italian marketplace. The food made me fell joyful kind of like a fat kid that loves cake. Pulling into the oversized parking lot, the first thing I noticed was all the landscaping and how well it was maintained. I found the restaurant, overall very well maintained and clean although the floors were a little on the messy side.…

Valuable? Yes. It is not only valuable to the customers, but it is also valuable to the businesses who join hands with us. For customers within the Greater Toronto Area, it will be very beneficial for them because they would be able to access our website and in just few clicks fulfill their needs. Customers have several options, whether if they want to drink alcohol then they can find a bar or any other restaurant which serves alcohol. Or if they need to find a Thai restaurant near their place or in a specific area, they would be able to locate all of the Thai restaurants in the requested area by just using our website. It is very valuable to tourists because they are new with the area and are not aware that where they would find their type of activities, entertainments, or food choice within their designated area. Along with that, if a customer refers that they came to that place by using “todo.com”, then they are eligible for getting an extra five (5) percent off on their orders or purchases. Aside customers, our idea also benefits businesses as well. For businesses who sell halal chicken, they will be able to advertise their halal menu and attract customers who only eat halal. There is a large amount of people in the GTA who only eat halal food and by the halal businesses being advertised on our website, it will attract those customers to visit those restaurants only. This will benefit those halal restaurants since they will be advertising on one of the hottest website which would be used by customers who prefer to eat halal, since there are limited halal restaurants around.…
