Oklahom Should Teachers Be Paid More?
There is a teacher shortage in the United States but especially in Oklahoma. Teachers have been receiving harsh pay cuts in the state of Oklahoma. This resulted in fewer staff to help schools teach the youth. There are more teachers that leave to another state because of the salary cuts every day. My younger niece has had three teachers this year because the faculty keeps leaving to live a life where they do not have to struggle financially. Teachers should get a bigger salary in Oklahoma because they are a big part of the development of the youth and there will be less educated people. One reason that teachers should be paid more is that they are a big part of the youth's development. Every teacher ever at a school affects a child's life

If this happens then the society will be Neanderthals and will be troublesome to others. Oklahoma is the second lowest paying for teachers just over six hundred dollars. This is why people study to be teachers in Oklahoma then they move to Texas to get a bigger salary. Oklahoma is a state that is seen as uneducated because of our background being cowboys and this will prove the stereotype more. Oklahoma is making it easier for people to become teachers to fix this problem but they are most likely no qualified and do a horrible job. After that the education gets lower people get more obnoxious and they do not know what is right or wrong. This will make crime higher because of gullible people. Also, people who are trying to get an education for their future career will be bad at there job since it is easier to be a teacher. Even if college teachers may not be affected high school teachers will. Having bad teachers during high school will mean the students will not be prepared for college. This will increase the number of college dropouts because of how hard it seems to a student that has had an easy high school
