Observation Of Joshua
According to Joshua’s present performance at 3.8 years old, Joshua displays difficulty expressing himself during class and is inconsistent with the functionality of certain objects. For example, Joshua was asked to retrieve an item that belongs in the bathroom, but upon completion he was unable to verbalize the function of the object. On the other hand, Joshua is able to identify his name and distinguish different colors, numbers, shapes and letters. He has the ability to count to 10 but shows signs of difficulty when asked to identify the numbers. Furthermore, it was determined that Joshua works best in a small group setting.
