Observation: Black Elementary School

This observation lasted approximately 4 half hours
Black Elementary school 3rd grade
10 boys and 12 girls ranging in age from 8 to 9 years old,plus one female teacher
My observation purpose was to view what the teacher communicates with the student,teacher,parent.When the teacher communicates with the student.The teacher looks at the student when she is talking to the student.The teacher communicates with another teacher by talking face to face or on the phone.The teacher communicates with a parent when the teacher gets a call from the parent the parent ask the teacher why did my daughter or son get in trouble.The teacher and the parent communicates with the student's parent when a student is bad the teacher call the parent

    At 1:00 p.m. I entered into Evoline C. West Elementary school on Thursday, July 12 2012 for an interview with Mrs. Yolanda Lawrence.     Well it’s related to me right now on two levels. The first is that my students are all immersed in exams at the moment. Every Monday is taken up with exams and then I get a ton of marking and the following week is spent on explaining the tests and where they went wrong. The second is that I was just observed by my school vice principal for a lesson. That was very nerve racking and made me feel very self conscious. The difference between these is that I will use those exams to help my students and assess where they need help and change my lesson plans.
