The problem I selected is the living conditions in America during the industrial revolution. This was a problem in American that began when Americans began to create these companies a long time ago. Things started to get bad as people like John Rockefeller; and other big business owners that began to take over every type of business, from oil, to railroad, and to clothes. These businesses began to rise over competition and become huge corporations. One thing these businesses needed was more workers because the need for more product. So these tycoons called the jobs of the working pool of America. The Industrial Revolution had big corporations that needed lots of workers to fill their needs for a lot of products. So these led to a lot of workers living near the working area of these Industrial Corporation, in urban environments where their corporations were located. However, these jobs would lead two very little pay at all, not even enough to sustain a house that was relatively nice. The houses the workers could afford were in the cities and called tenements, they were masses of poor people all live together 2-4 families in each tenement in the apartment type building. This led to really bad conditions due to the lack of plumbing and bathrooms in each tournament. So they had to find other means of getting rid of this waste and bathing, like bringing gallons and gallons of well water from outside to these their houses. They would throw their body waste somewhere that wasn't in the house to stink it up, which lead to lots of pollution in the streets. Many people become sick due to the horrible living standards let me emphasize horrible, to the point where people were dying do to infections just from this waste in the street and waste in the house. And the sad part, no one was hoping to get rid of these horrible living standards, no one. Business owners didn't care because they had people lined up just to get the job at that the guy that died had
