Nuclear officer
Becoming a naval officer would allow me to fulfill a duty to serve my country, just as my ancestors once did. It would allow me to become the leader I was born to be, and the leader I am called to become. Being a Naval officer is certainly not an easy task, and is a task that not many get to do. Naval officers are the best of the best, therefore only the elite get the privilege to serve their country as one.
For many it has been a family tradition or a lifelong dream that has led them to a career in the military, others describe a sense of duty to serve their country, but for me it is something greater. Becoming an officer for the united states Navy means this country is entrusting me to help secure its most valuable resource, our freedom.
Many believe that joining the military is only about protecting our three most cherished beliefs: life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. But i believe there is a much bigger picture, a picture that only officers can see.
While these beliefs are at the center of american life, officers must look at the bigger picture. This bigger picture is something i want to be a part of. Officers must be able to lead. These principles on which our country was founded upon are protected by the men and women of the United States Military,
