Northgard's Game Analysis
Northgard is a Real Time Strategy game that puts players in command of a Viking clan who after years traveling find themselves in the mysterious land of Northgard. In this land filled with bountiful resources and dangerous creatures, these clans must not only survive in their new surroundings, but also bring fame and glory to their newly build civilization through colonizing key locations on the map, documenting the history of their clan, or concurring other clans looking achieve the same goal. Inspired by Norse Mythology, Northgard sets to bring a new take to the genre by introducing new and interesting mechanics to players wrapped in an interesting theme that complements the gameplay found in the game.
Northgard is currently available on Steam Early Access. In this current build of the game, players have access to the Vs. AI portion of the game and can currently choose from three different clans, each with their own perks and talents to choose from as they progress through the game. Each clan features a starting bonus as well as a specific trait

Players can either generate enough fame through colonizing areas or defeat enemies on the map that provide lore for your clan, an economic victory by generating enough gold and organizing trade routes throughout Northgard, or by defeating the other clans in the area through combat. Even though each faction specializes in achieving these paths to victory better than others, each of them can win through these means based on the current state of the game. Shiro Games the developers behind the game, plans to release additional content for the game, while also listening to player feedback in order to create a more enjoyable experience as time goes one. From what we can see from this build of the game, Northgard will feature both a campaign and multiplayer mode. The developer has also stated that additional win conditions will also be introduced to the game at a later
