Chapter 3 Research Methodology

Methods of Research The researchers will use Descriptive research in gathering of data. ”The researcher is often very much influenced by issues such as sample size, location, availability of funds, complexity of information required, constraints of time and the logistics of the overall data collection process The researcher will use survey as the tool to gather data. The researchers will conduct survey for the customer to get more information to the things they notice and improvement of the facility. The Survey will also help the researcher for the improvement and add more features for the system
Locale of the study The venue of the study where the survey will be conducted is located at 284
Gen. Ordonez St. Marikina Heights, Marikina City of MCS Garden Resort and Catering
Services. MCS Garden Resort and Catering Services provides room reservation and
Catering Services. They provide many service offers for their Guest/Customer. They assigned one receptionist on front desk that manually booked the reservation for the customer. The receptionist will ask for basic information about the customer like full name, contact number and address, after getting basic information the customer will pay him cash for the reservation and manually record it to their log book. although they have computers and internet connection they only use it for personal purposes.

Participants of the Study

The participants of the study include the owner, the staffs and the customer for they are very important in a sense that this study is all about them, they will be randomly selected. There are a total of 50 respondents in this study. The researcher will categorized them equally by social status and educational and attainment. Data will be gathered according to the response of the selected respondents.
