My superhero is Common Century, also known as Nicolas Tonge or Century. Common Century is an average looking guy in his mid-20s, he has medium-length brown hair, brown-hazel eyes, and works a white collar job in Tysons, Virginia. Common Century wears a silver suit along with a black cape, red boots and gauntlets, and a red belt with silver lettering in the center, the letters are CC (for a better visual look up the hero Sentry and recolor the outfit). His powers include flight, superhuman charisma, super strength, and mind prompting. Mind prompting is a variation of mind control where the user influences their target’s thoughts and opinions. While he was looking for his uncle at LexCorp, Nick was exposed to a green glowing meteor and became extremely sick the following week. It took over 3 months for him to regain his strength and continue on with his education. Nick eventually graduated from law school and became a full-time lawyer, however, during his second year of practicing law, he began experiencing fits of emotion, mainly rage and moments where he just could even. A series of tragic events struck him aswell, the loss of his uncle in Battle of Metropolis, the bankruptcy of his law firm, and crippling depression. This causes Nick to attempt suicide by jumping off a building. However, Nick discovers that he could fly when he realizes he does not hit the ground. Over a period of the next 2 years, Nick discovered his abilities to change people’s minds, his increased strength, and his increased charisma. Nick donned his hero cape when he became sick of so much idiocy in society and the US Government. He works towards bettering the US by helping people overcome stupid ideas and stereotyping. My hero is needed in America’s society now because of the increase in stupidity and stereotyping. People these days are making stupid decisions with no thought of the aftereffect. This includes one of the selfie trends, taking a picture of yourself in a dangerous situation. People have taken pictures of themselves climbing buildings, being near extremely dangerous animals, hanging off the edge of cliffs and structures, and doing dangerous tricks off of high, public buildings and
