The Key to Never Forgetting Your iPhone’s Charging Cable

Since nowadays almost everyone at least have one apple product, such as iPhone and iPad, I decided to choose this new gadget called Kii, which relates with apple product as my topic for the final project.

This kind of charging cable is key shape, so that you can keep it with your house key or car key, as long as you remember to lock your home, as well as make sure you don’t lock your car key inside the car, and bring your keys. For older generation of iPhone or iPad, you just need to spend $20 to get Kii, available in black only. But if you’ve got the latest generation iPhone or iPad, you’ll need to cough up twice that amount - $40 to get either black or white version.

Let me explain you why spending $40 is worthy here. First, Kii’s size is portable, just like a normal house key. It even has a key hole, which you can easily keep it with your normal keys. Second, it combines two important functions together, regarding charging function and storing function. In other words, you can not only use it as a iPhone or iPad charger, but also use it as a USB flash drive. Third, it is super easy to use it, so that you don’t need to read the long and boring instruction before using it. You just need to control the release button on the Kii cap to unclose the connector or close it, and connect it with your laptop or desktop. The reason why I like it is because that the invention of Kii has guaranteed we never forget to bring our important files ever agin, and we don’t need to worry about the death of your iPhone or iPad because of running out of battery wherever you are.

The comparison of similar products are normal USB Data charger cables for iPhone or iPad, which the prices are much cheaper than Kii. To help Kii to have more comparison advantages, I suggest Kii to have more powerful and interesting functions other than charing and storing information, such as

The disadvantage of using a port expander is speed. The single port you are connecting to only operates at a set speed; example of this is a USB 2.0 port operates at 480 Mbit/s. If you have a portable hard drive that runs at 300 Mbit/s and a digital camera running at 180 Mbit/s that leaves 0 Mbit/s left for any other USB device on the USB hub; you could run into a bottleneck situation if you are trying to run another device at the same time. I have used several USB hubs in the past and they seemed to work really well for me. I was not using all devices I had plugged into the hub at the same time. I found it was a lot easier than plugging and unplugging devices all the time just to plug in another device.…

The first generation iPod was one of the first mobile devices that a consumer could carry around comfortably. Before this, the bulky, disc-shaped Sony Walkmen dominated the market, requiring the user to have to go out of his way to purchase a CD and needing to change the CD in the event that he wanted to listen to a different album. Like changing a lens on a DSLR camera, it was impractical and time consuming. Therefore, Steve Jobs created the iPod, a mini personal computer that could hold music on a small device that allowed the user to switch from song to song easily, reducing the weight of the music kit and the time needed to change the song. The iPod also paved the path for the future of all mobile downloading through the creation of iTunes, a service still widely used today. The first generation iPhone was, perhaps, the most revolutionary piece of technology of the 2000s, bringing to the table a microprocessor, a touch screen, an iPod, a camera, a television, a telephone, a web browser, and a calculator all in a singular package. Before this phone, other phones used a trackpad or a stylus as means of interacting with the device. Consequently, losing or breaking the tool resulted in a useless piece of technology, in addition it the bulk of having to carry around another pen only for a phone. Steve Jobs aimed to ameliorate the situation by using a…

According to the Oxford English Dictionary, there is not necessarily true evidence for the use of "gadget" as a place holder name for a technical item whose precise name one can't remember since the 1850s; with Robert Brown's 1886 book Spunyarn and Spindrift, A sailor boy’s log of a voyage out and home in a China tea-clipper containing the earliest known usage in print. The etymology of the word is disputed.…
