Natural Hair Journey
Have you ever thought of going through a journey with natural hair? Stated in “4 Things I Learned as a Man on a New Natural-Hair Journey”, I acknowledges that Damon Young has constantly learning new techniques since his journey has started (pg3 para.1). Everyone is born with natural hair which means you have no chemicals in your hair that change its texture or pattern. Although if you continuously put chemicals such as perms or relaxers in your hair then it will end your journey of being natural. When returning natural it is important to know the common stages through natural hair journeys, varieties of hair patterns and textures, and what can affect natural hair. Therefore, having any type of damage or chemicals involved with your hair can lead to stages such as transitioning and a big chop.
