Nasa's Influence On Society
NASA today is helping Europe space agency with 2 NASA radios being brought along to a EXOMars mission. It is a seven month mission, and it will start in Kazakhstan. NASA thinks this will help the relationship between the two agencies. This mission will send two people to Mars and a robot rover. The radios will be on the rover and in the ship and will be to communicate with NASA and European Space Agency.
Science has influenced society by predicting when there will be rain or wind. Science has also influenced society by it has helped discover species and help endangered species. It has helped grow crops to feed people. They have helped discover space and what stars are made of. They also figure out that if it's an almost empty universe is also an expanding.They studied how light travels through space.They tried to figure out if distant galaxies are moving away, then we are in the center of the universe.     In the early morning of February 1st, 2003, the US watched in horror as the Space Shuttle Columbia disintegrated over the blue Texas sky (Simberg). Even the most staunch NASA believers contemplated their support for the agency as fire rained from the sky. The incident caused the question that everyone asked themselves that day: Is the journey of space travel and exploration worth the sacrifice of human lives? This line of thinking has ultimately lead to the debate over whether we, as American tax payers, should continue to fund NASA in its mission to explore and understand the universe.
