As a public and service oriented office, the unending endeavor of the CMD-PESO to promote full employment to the people of Tarlac is continuous. They are facilitating different trainings and other related employment and livelihood services. It was a very fascinating outreach programs because it helps in building livelihood among the constituents of Tarlac City. There are numerous trainings that they are implementing such as call center training, massage therapy, beauty care, dress making and reflexology. The PESO trainers are very hard-working to conduct trainings indifferent barangays of Tarlac City .
One of the requirements of business administration students is the on the job training or what they also called apprenticeship. This is the time to show and apply what they have learned in school. This is also the time that their knowledge on different things will be expanded.
November 09, 2012 my first day of on-the-job training at the tarlac city hall, city manpower development and employment service office or public employment service office (PESO). I was assigned there to be trained as assistant in the office.
I arrived at the office at 7:30 o clock in the morning like a regular employee. I felt so nervous and uncomfortable because it was a new environment for me. I helped the employees to entertain applicants who want to apply for the vacant position at the cityhall.
On the second day, together with the co-trainees and the regular employee helped each other to entertained again some applicants and facilitate all the paper works
After one week of my OJT I felt so sick because it’s too hot in the office because the office does not have an air-conditioned unit.
Like the daily routine work in the office, I helped the regular employee to entertained applicants and encoded their resume in the PhilJobNet website using
