Narrative Essay About Thanksgiving
Every year Thanksgiving means a lot to my family and friends. I enjoy spending time with them.
Early in the morning my mom gets up at the crack of dawn and starts cooking. When I wake up I wake up to the smell of food, my mom yells at me when I try to go to the kitchen. Usually every year I always try not to eat before dinner but sometimes it is too much for me to not eat before dinner. The delicious aroma of the dinner is hard to resist waiting for everyone to arrive. Sometimes I have to give in to the smell of food and eat a snack before dinner.
Throughout the day we entertain ourselves while the guest come little by little. We watch football, the parade, etc. My uncles and my dad seem to enjoy to yell at the tv. After someone is mad that their team lost we watch movies we rented. Sometimes we rent holiday specials, and some times we rent new movies. I enjoy watching the parade because I like seeing all the different float.

We have to decide to play football first, once were tired we decided to get water. After our “Half time” we keep playing. After were all exhausted we decide to go inside and play video games. After I dominate them in video games it is time for them to go home. Looking back over the years I learned that Thanksgiving isn’t about all the food you can eat, or a football game, or the parade. Thanksgiving is about family and getting together to spend time with your loved ones. I think the pilgrims created Thanksgiving to spend time together. I learned that not to many people can have what my family has and I am thankful for

All of my cousins are older than me- literally, all of my cousins even from I don't know where. The only people younger than me are my siblings so I'm not the youngest of ALL the people. Anyways, we had eaten all of the thanksgiving things you can possibly eat. I loved thanksgiving this year and I can't wait next year.…
