After watching The Myth of the Average Learner it gave me a new insight on teaching. As a teacher we should strive to make it possible for all student to succeed. As teachers we should try new methods of teaching and give students options on how to do problems. I know in high school I had a math teacher that would give different ways to do the math then the next year I had a teacher only give one way to do the problems. I struggled with some of the work because I could not wrap my brain around it. As a teacher trying to teach to all student and not the average way is going to have its challenges.
