My Story for His Glory
My Story For His Glory
Experiencing God’s Glory

Past. Freddy Allen Augustin

Good Afternoon Zion, It is an honor to be in God’s House this wonderful morning. I always love the time to thank God for all he has done for me. I also like to thank the church members and staff. Before we proceed on with the Holy word, let us open our Bible to Job 38 and consider a few verses where the Lord started tossing some tough questions at Job.
4”Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth?
5)Tell Me, if you have understanding. Who determined its measurements? Surely you know! Or who stretched the line on it?
12”Have you ever in your life commanded the morning, And caused the dawn to know its place,
That it might take hold of the ends of the earth
And the wicked be shaken out of it?”
Let us bow.
Lord! My redeemer, my savior, my protector, help me so that I may speak the words that are truly inspired by you and you only. In the most High name of my Lord and Savior Jesus-Christ I pray. Amen

In John 4, the Bible tells us about the woman at the well, where she meets Jesus and He asks her for water and she replied: “You are a Jew,” she said “ And I am a Samaritan, why ask me for water?” then Jesus answered to her and said : “If you only knew the Gift of God , and who it is who says to you, “Give Me a drink, you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water,” After speaking to the Messiah, she went and told everyone about what He had told her( elaborate on that).
In Luke 17:11-19, we find the story of the ten lepers, and in

As a little girl, I do not know how our finances worked all I knew was many bills were due and I knew it because when I was a little girl I liked to practice reading and those bill statements were the papers that attracted my interest due to its colorful paper.…

With ever story of victory, comes a drowning idea of failure. Throughout our live, these battles are fought, taking not only mental strength, but physical as well. Some of these battles are chosen, while the rest flank from behind. With this in mind, a story of victory must be told, on behalf of my Aunt, Joenell. Her battle took place in April, of 2009, she went to the Suttee Delta hospital, in Antioch California for a doctor’s visit, for fear that something was wrong, during this visit she informed her doctor that she felt a not on her left breast. Soon after, she had a mammogram, and an ultrasound done, revealing three cancerous lumps. As the doctor went into detail, she started to realize the gravity of the situation. For the first time; at the age of 59, she was confronted with the most life threating event she had ever faced. So for a second opinion, she went to the Epic Cancer center, also in Antioch California. Certainly, the last thing anyone would like to hear during a doctor’s visit, she knew there would be some decisions to be made, time to study up.…

Throughout our lives, we all go through a fairly similar story where we start off making our own ordinary world full of predictability and comfort, that we all eventually get taken or drawn away from. Many will attempt to refuse this call to adventure, and many others will have no choice and get tossed into an unknown, difficult world. In this new world, we’ll have to go through at least one supreme ordeal, if not much more, being hindered by our own demons and by the demons of others, and getting help from allies. We'll go through various tests and learn crucial lessons from all of the mistakes we'll make along the way. This story we go through is professionally referred to as the Hero's Journey and my older brother, Preston, is a terrific…

“Jesus said to the servants, ‘Fill the jars with water’; so they filled them to the brim…‘Now draw some out and take it to the master of the banquet.’…And the master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine (John 2:7-9).” In Jewish culture, not having wine for guests symbolized the host could not provide for his family. When Jesus was asked for help, it seems unnatural to turn water into wine as opposed to putting grapes in a jar and turning the fruit into wine. However, consider the making of wine. Once the grapes were crushed and turned into a syrup, it was stored away to ferment. When it…

A tall, husky man wearing a white lab coat entered my room, followed by a gust of cold air. My eyes instantly spotted “Surgeon” on his name tag. I uneasily anticipated the doctors’ decision that I was going to need to have surgery.…
