My Society
La Isla Diversa

There is no perfect society in the world, and there will never be any perfect society. People can have their imagination on what they would prefer as their ideal society and everyone varied from person to person. If I had the opportunity to create what I thought would be the ideal society our world would be a completely different place. There would be so many changes to the world that we live in today. The idea behind my society is to bring people together and understand other cultures and what their beliefs, ideas, and norms are. These changes will be explained in full details in the following paragraphs. We will begin with the physical features and geographical location of this place.
My ideal world would take place on an island called La Isla Diversa. It would be located somewhere between west coast of the United States and the coast of Asia. The name would come from the word diverse, which would suit the inhabitants of the island. La Isla Diversa would be made up of sand, palm trees, plants, mountains and houses made from the wood/leafs from the palm trees themselves. The island would be about the same size of Texas and would be made up of about 100-150 inhabitants. Much of the land would be unexplored and be available for the inhabitants to go out and explore.
The temperature on the La Isla Diversa would be the same year-round. During the day the temperature would vary between 80-90 degrees, and at night the temperature would drop to the 60’s. There would be days when it’s cloudy and rainy but the temperature would remain the same. The sun rises every morning at 8am and it will go down at 9pm. La Isla Diversa would be such a beautiful place with beautiful weather, features, and also the people abroad the island.
Up to now you may have questions and wonder what’s so different about this Island than any other Island. The secret behind this Island is that it is an island where marijuana is grown and cultivated by the inhabitants as

We can compare Amish society as seen in the movie Witness to North American society to decide which is more ideal. An ideal society is one where there is a strong sense of community among all the members. Education prepares children for life; therefore the type of education a child receives will change the society in the next generation. Although education is valued in both societies, its focus is much different. The Laws of a society reflect the values of a community, and it shows what they consider to be right and wrong. Each society has laws that reflect its values; however the way the laws are expressed is much different. Family life in a society is important, because families bring the community together. Though children are valued in both the societies, family life is different between the two when comparing the roles of the husband and the wife. The Amish lifestyle is more ideal because there is a better sense of community within the society.…

A utopian society is a society which has perfect political and social order. When talking about a utopian society, the word perfect is synonymous. A perfect society seems close, but is really very far away. The ideal society consists of knowledge, reverence, and equality. Knowledge is the information that people acquire and use to have a better awareness and understanding of things. Reverence is having a respectful attitude towards something or someone that is held in high regard. Equality is when all living things are equal, and no one or thing is any better than another. These are the grounds on which the utopian society can prevail.…

    A Civilized Society

What is the meaning of a society? A historian might say a society is a group of people living in an ordered community that has a hierarchy. An adult might say that a society is a community of people that have certain jobs and a community that has schools for their children to go to. A child might not even know what the meaning of society is. Their answers differ because there is not a book written in history that clearly defines what a society is. But when “society” is narrowed down into “civilized” society, it is here that agreements are distinguished. Most people agree that the time and place they live in at this present moment is civilized, even though spirits are still believed in. This also means that time periods that are not considered “civilized” in today’s terms, are considered civilized to the people living in that time period. In the book Beowulf, a book written in the seventh or eight century by an anonymous author, there are two societies, the Danes, who reside in Denmark, and the Geats, who reside in southern Sweden. This book is named after a person; not surprisingly, this person is named Beowulf, a Geat who later becomes the king of the Geats. The Anglo-Saxon society in the book Beowulf is civilized because they believe in monsters and their leaders and group members have clear expectations.…

Before answering the question, “What is an ideal society?” you must first be sure of the actual meaning of the word society. Some probably think its obvious, but to be clear, a society is a grouping of individuals who share common interests and may have distinctive culture and institutions. The relationship between society and an individual is as though between an object and its shadow. No one individual can function apart from society, nor can society operate without the support of individuals. Society, as we know, is the umbrella term for the collection of humans working as a community and sharing common ideals with regards to actions, ethics, and morals. The foundation of a society is always going to be the individuals that make it up. When the individuals in a society are all just and moral people, then society naturally would work as a just and moral entity. Therefore, the implications of peoples’ ideals, intentions, and actions dictate the conventions of that society. However, the notions of morality…

The roots of an Indian autonomous civil society is not to be found in the contemporary rise of a modern state but foremost in the ancient and medieval history of the country. Cast “panchayats”, village “panchayats”, or traders guilds all illustrates forms of local institutions that had long been untouched by the vicissitudes of the political spheres and remained autonomous from state control. Indian society had been characterised in pre-colonial times by a form of “insularity” that thus ensured an certain independence from state power but also resulted in a stagnation and an impossible unity of the population. However, the modern definition of an Indian civil society has to confront the radical transformation of the State and its consequences on the role of the non-state actors.…

Why is it that society must always judge a book from its cover? Society puts a label on everything as good or bad, rich or poor, normal or strange and though sometimes they can be right most of these labels are opinions not facts. In this novel Frankenstein by Mary Shelley Society plays a big role. Society shuns the creature because of the way he looks. Victor Frankenstein the narrator of the most of the novel studies the art of life and how the body is made and how it can be taken apart. Victor Creates a very smart but ugly creature, who he himself is even scared of. Victor keeps it a secret but later goes on to regret what he did because he can not stop the monster from ruining his life and the lives of his love ones. The monster who is eight feet tall has a very hard time blending in. His outside appearance will not allow him to be a normal human being and although he learns how to talk and read no one will give him a chance, and because of that he goes after his creator Victor Frankenstein for revenge.
