My Revolution
Small children ages 1-12 have been the bane of many people’s lives for thousands
Of years. Many will disagree, but these people are the outcome of years of mental
Abuse at the hands of these monsters. Their willpower shattered before them,
Their sanity ripped from their very bodies, there is nothing left save the shell of
The human that used to inhabit it. Something must be done about the plague that
We call “children” and I believe there is a solution.
But first one must understand the twisted, evil nature of these creatures. Firstly the have the ability to break even the hardiest of men with their death shrieks. Once they have brought someone down, the horde moves in for the killing blow. Next one must understand that any resistance against them will be met with a stalwart defense and an overwhelming counter-resistance. Even in their development stages, a band of 4 could pick a human skeleton clean in under 10 minutes. It is very important to understand that these beasts are incredibly dangerous. But to truly contemplate the horror behind these brutes, one must first observe their habitat. The most common child (ages 3-6) dwells in a lair most vile; strewn in mucus and small plastic building blocks. DO NOT underestimate these blocks for they are actually floor-based traps. Their nests where they lay their clutch of offspring are almost ritually adorned with brightly colored, fuzzy linens to keep their hatchlings safe. The last thing one must bear in mind is that these creatures are very aggressive and territorial. There can be only one and final solution. We must, as a race, band together and send these monsters to the vacuum of space where there is no life to be found, for it is all they deserve. For maybe one day they may evolve into a species that could be tolerated worldwide.

The Decembrists Rebellion occurred in December of 1825 after the death of Tsar Alexander I. Many Guards’ officers and elitists took the opportunity of Alexander’s death and the confusion of who should inherit the throne and attempted to overthrow the government and create a republic for Russia. Early in Alexander’s reign, he talked a great deal about granting a constitution for Russia and also freeing the serfs. The people of Russia had high hopes for what could be done, but when Alexander refused to give up his power over the Russians, they fought back. After his death, it was uncertain as to which one of Alexander’s brothers became the new tsar of Russia, enabling a rebellion to occur in the confusion. I will argue that the two main events that led to the Decembrists Rebellion was Alexander I’s refusal to grant Russians a constitution and legislature and the confusion as to who became the new tsar after his death.…

Human perception and how our mind works are sometimes confusing as we perceive something dangerous to us as monster. However, we are the chief cause of certain living beings to go extinct. We are killing them slowly by destroying their habitat and that causes them to suffer until death. We are the only creature that cuts down trees, to make paper and write “Save the trees” and also we force animals from their natural habitat into cages at the zoo for our mere entertainment. We also built factories to make accessories from animal skin for fashion. Imagine that we made a bag out of human skin, we will indirectly say that the owner is a…

Monsters have proven to be more than just the fiendish appearance or the evil within such creatures – their monstrosity symbolizes, more or less, the characteristics that define mankind and/or our innermost fears. Prior to this Exploration of the Humanities course, I have interpreted monsters for what they are: heartless and destructive creatures that generate fear. However, I never bothered what the true cause of such fear is – only associating the gruesome presence with a psychological reaction of horror. But taking this class allowed me to broaden my perspective on monsters and monstrosity: humans fear the “Other” because we as individuals have an “Other” within us (subconsciously) that we are not willing to show to those in our surroundings. Or, for some, there is a fear of becoming like the “Other” – the terror or becoming so monstrous and uncontrollable.…

    Revolutionary Movement

The reasons for the American Revolutionary Movement are diverse and numerous; however, one reason stands above them all: economics. Ever since the first settlers began to colonize the United States, economics have been present as the foundation for the country. Our society today is derived from money matters just as it was in the time before and during the Revolution. The British fighting the French and Indian War was a base for strong financial changes that led to the Revolution. This was closely followed by the Declaratory Act that allowed the taxing of the colonies and the Intolerable Acts made by the British. They all had strong influences in the economics of the country that led to the Revolutionary War.…

The Praieira revolt, also known as the Beach rebellion, was a movement in the Pernambuco region of Brazil that lasted from 1848 to 1849. The European Revolutions of 1848, in some countries known as the Spring of Nations or the Year of Revolution, were the bloody consequences of a variety of changes that had been taking place in Europe in the first half of the 19th century. In politics, both bourgeois reformers and radical politicians were seeking change in their nations' governments. In society, technological change was creating new ways of life for the working classes, a popular press extended political awareness, and new values and ideas such as nationalism and socialism began to spring up. The tinder that lit the fire was a series of economic downturns and crop failures that left many of the poor starving…
