my life
We all have hopes and dreams which mould us into who we become in the future. Since a very young age we have all learned to hope and dream about what the future holds for us. I know I have, and all these past years all I've done is think about what I want to be when i grow up, who my family is and where I will live. I've been filling my head with a fantasy of being a rich girl living in New York. So, I subconsciously created a blueprint in my mind of my future, and it gives me an immense pleasure to share it with all of you. So here it goes.
Ever since we could talk our parents have always asked us one question what do you want to be when you grow up. Honestly, let me tell you all the bizarre things I wanted to be, first I passed through the princess phase, which mostly every girl wants to be in one point of her life, then came the cowgirl phase which I wanted to be because that's what Barbie wanted to be once upon a time, than came my most bizarre choice of all, a pirate to this day on I don't even know why I wanted to be a pirate, and then came a movie star which I wanted to be, because of the fame and riches. Finally, after all these very immature phases I sent on one profession I knew I would be happy doing for the rest of my life, a neurosurgeon. Most people think that neurosurgeon's are brain doctors who just fix the brain when someone is possibly injured, but let me tell you neurosurgeons are much more than that. Neurosurgeons are extraordinary physicians who specialize in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of disorders of the central nervous system including traumas, tumors, vascular disorders, infections of the brain or spine, stroke, or degenerative diseases of the spine. Being a neurosurgeon is a extremely tough job, but I enjoy doing it. Every time I'm performing a surgery it sends a rush of excitement through my body, it's exhilarating performing a surgery knowing that the person's life is in your hands, and the aftermath of the surgery is always

I have been fortunate enough to see surgeries first hand, work next to medical professionals, and get an idea of what different occupations bring to the table in the field of medicine.…

This summer was really one of my best. It was so exciting and I loved every single moment of it. I made a lot of new friends and it was really enjoyable spending time with my old friends and them too. I went to my favorite camp in the whole world, got to see my best friends from South Carolina and spent a lot of time at the river. I jumped off settles bridge for the first time in front of so many people and completely busted my butt, I had a 9x4 inch bruise on the back of my thigh but it was still so worth it because I had the courage to jump before all the boys that were on the bridge with me. They were all quite impressed and a little embarrassed. I got to spend a lot of time with my boyfriend at the pool in my backyard and the pool in his backyard and we always had tons of friends over. When I grow up I would like to be a nice and caring Pediatrician (Physician). A pediatrician is a child's physician. I chose this wonderful job because I love children and I want to help them. The one thing I like most about kids is their creativity. They generally have a really open mind and are able to come up with some very interesting solutions to things that older people, would never come up with. I loved being a small kid, I had a lot of attention from my family, did not have to stress out about anything, and most importantly I did not have to go to school. To be honest, I am still a little scared about going to the doctor. When I went once to get the flu shot I was really scared, but before I knew it, it was over. The doctor made me feel so good about myself, she made me feel strong. Then, I looked up at my dad and said this “daddy, I want to be a nice and caring pediatrician like her”.…
