My Profile My name is Amarachukwu Anyalebechi. One would say a kid got dreams, when I was little I always wanted to be an automotive designer, I love car interior designs so much I even started drawing mine and making models but things changed when my mom died of cancer and almost all my siblings went into health science I didn’t want to but sometimes in life you can't always have what you want and also automotive design wasn’t that big of a deal then in Nigeria. With time I fell in love with medicine and I found myself helping out in a nearby hospital so I decided to become a medical doctor and most especially an ambassador for cancer patients and some build shelter for the less privileged. And maybe if I can still get one more wish I would love to play soccer professionally. On a good day I can give up medicine for soccer and still be an ambassador for cancer patients. I am a very quiet young guy just like a dolphin am always happy and love having fun. I have a lot of hobbies like hanging out with my female friends, playing soccer both on the field and in video game and also I love writing songs and singing and most especially am a movie freak. Most of my hobbies don’t relate to my career but studying and praying always keep me focused. To be a medical doctor is not a piece of cake, it requires of hard work and dedication but am up for it and ready to study all night. To be a medical doctor requires a lot, first you got to have a four year degree in any major of your choice or a two year in pre medicine then you take the MCAD, if you pass you get into any medical school of your choice but you also have to pass the interview. To be a medical doctor you shouldn’t be scared of blood and also ready to help people and also a doctor is required to have a flexible schedule because of emergencies of any kind.

First, you must obtain a Bachelor’s degree in virtually anything, though it would be more practical to obtain a degree in a science or a math. At some point during the undergraduate years, a student takes the MCAT exam which, based on how well the student scores, determines which medical school the student will attend. Studying…

The medical field is a career path that brings about many options and opportunities of great value. The noble idea of being a doctor tends to cloud the diligent studying and precise training that is actually required for this career. I have wanted to become a doctor since a very young age, and now that the opportunity is here for the taking, I have fully researched what it takes to succeed in this profession and various specialties of the practice. The road to a medical degree is one filled with thousands of notes, years of schooling, and many stressful nights, but the reward is one incomparable to any other. Saving people’s lives on a day-to-day basis has been one of my dreams for as long as I can remember, so the rigorous curriculum and the competitive medical schooling is a fair trade for the lives I can save. Earning a medical degree comes along with demanding schooling, disciplined studying, and meticulous training, but in the end the degree is worth all the sacrifices.…

Doctors are always narrowed down to one specific field. This is determined during their schooling. To become a doctor you need to attend at least eight years of college. Four of those years are to receive your Bachelor’s degree. During those four years you take all of your core classes, which include a lot of psychology and philosophy and about three levels of many different sciences. After you graduate you then have to apply to medical school. This is often an entirely different college. You take in depth courses on each branch of medicine, which normally takes about four more years. These courses involve a lot of memorization of every common and uncommon illness and their symptoms. Ever since I can remember, I have always dreamt of a career in medicine and the reason is not for something small like money or prestige. The reason that I want to become a doctor is the satisfaction that I would get from knowing that I made a difference in someone's life. When one is a doctor, people look up to that individual when they are at their weakest point, and when they have no one else because a doctor helps maintain a sense of hope for the patient and his or her family. Knowing that I will be the person people turn to on their most unforgettable days, when there is no other hope and it will be my responsibility to solve their problem and possibly save a life gives me satisfaction that has much more value than any amount of money.…

In kindergarten, my class was asked, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” Crayons danced across sheets of paper to illustrate our dream occupations. Our drawings were hung in the hallway for our parents to see at Back to School Night. I remember looking down the line and seeing pictures of ballerinas dancing, firefighters putting out a blaze, and astronauts leaping across the moon, careers that were seen as typical dreams of five year olds. My picture showed a girl throwing a ball in the air, being a professional athlete, but as you can see my point of view of my future has changed. Now I want to be doctor because I want to cure cancer and do the impossible by helping people and not just work out and play my whole life.…
