My Interest In Macro-Level Public Policy And Public Health
I have several different practice interests. I'm interested in clinical social work at the micro level, but also interested in macro-level public policy and public health. As an individual whose life has been significantly impacted by behavioral and emotional health, I'm a firm believer in mental health treatment through counseling and therapeutic services. In regards to public policy and public health, I feel, society benefits from the shift that occurs in policy but that public health is a key component of relaying that message to society. As I transition from my BA to a Master's program I'm looking to further educate myself and understand aspects of these three fields of
