January, 31, 2012 Identity Essay My identity achievement can be seen in terms of distinct categories. These include my early childhood, early teenage years, and early adulthood. Someone who influenced my identity was my mother who was a strong and healthy woman when I was a child. My mother was very sick, and she didn’t think she could make it through because of the health problems and issues she had. My mother told me that during her pregnancy she was in the jungle in the country of Burma, and which it is in Southeast Asia. There was no health care or medicine to help her during the whole pregnancy. I was very depressed for her when I heard the things my mom told me. I was lucky to be born a healthy baby. I was born during the month of April when all the flowers and trees show their beauty, and my mom named me after the flower of the cliffs. She thinks that I might choose a wrong person to marry, but I have not decided to married yet. I am still young and live with my mom and I still in school. My mom she doesn’t look at me the way she looked at me in the past; she looks to my future. She takes the time to teach me about choosing a boyfriend and planning for life in the future.
